I love this product. It is hydrating and smoothing and I love the tint it leaves on my hair. I'm brown, grey, and have both highlights and lowlights - when I'm a few weeks after coloring I like to use this to blend until my next appointments
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] instructions very clear and easy too follow. Gives you two options depending on how deep you want the color. gave a slight tint to my hair, dark brown, and received red. I would purchase again, try out other colors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is so amazing has such a rich and beautiful color to it comes in a nice convenient bottle that matches the color that it is in case you buy it multiple colors. The dispenser is located on the bottom of the bottle making it easy to set up and get all of the product out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product moisturizes the hair perfectly. It deposited enough color into my hair to even out the color between dyes and I will definitely be buying it again. It is more subtle than overtone for example but absolutely did the job as I was expecting.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This product really does what it says on the tin. I was impressed that this showed up on my “bronde” balayage, and it was such a great texture and scent. Super fun idea to change up your look, and affordable enough to just have fun and play.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] honest opinion, it is much more than I expected. conditioner that deposits color. Kristin Ess lavender tone smoke color depositing conditioner has a very fine and elegant spectacular aroma. it is easy to use you put 5 to 10 minutes (suggests the packaging) I use it for 10 minutes and you really fall in love with the color. additional Kristin Ess hydrates your hair. I recommend it yes!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Terracotta color and the box showed a more copper shade of red. I already have my hair dyed red and I was hoping this would refresh my already existing color. I used it on wet hair and left on for ~5 minutes. It rinsed out and left my hair quite soft but the color isn't what I had expected. It's more of a vivid red than a natural, copper red. Luckily it's semi-permanent so it will fade but I'm a bit disappointed in the shade. It's insanely pigmented so I would recommend wearing gloves to apply and be very careful because it could stain surfaces very easily. I probably won't reuse on its own because I don't like the shade but I might dilute it with conditioner and see if I can get it to look more natural.
I had another version of this. I didn't like it, it didn't last long, and it was hard to get an even color. I don't really recommend it. The packaging is ok, not a good value for your money, you can get something cheaper that will work way better.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE Kristin Ess products usually. The spray tint gave me a beautiful color, BUT the conditioner semi-permanent color didn't meet those expectations. I didn't have any color change after using it as directed and definitely would not try it again. My hair is a light brown color. I'm sure it would work better for lighter hair colors.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this product. The packaging is cute and the bottle functions well. I just couldn't get it to deposit properly. The first time I tried it, it didn't do anything at all so I decided to try it again and leave it on all day with a shower cap over it. It did deposit a little the second time but not nearly enough for how long I left it in my hair and it didn't last through many washes. I will say that I've had this problem with other rose colored dyes and I don't think it's specific to this brand, so it may be worth trying other colors. My hair did feel nice after the process so I can see it being good if the other colors deposit properly. Overall, I really wanted to love it but just didn't see the appeal with how little deposit I got.
