I was so happy to find this texturizing paste at Walmart. It's the best product I have found for killing static in my fine hair. I just apply a pea size amount after I've styled my hair, and it smooths my hair, tames any fly away hairs, and cuts down any frizz. It gives it just enough hold and a little texture too, but my hair is soft like I'm using no product. Much better than using hairspray, which I dislike. A tube will last a long time and it's a great value for money. I love that it's unscented. I wish the other Kristin Ess products were.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic product for flyaways, keeping hair in place or gives hair body. However, my hair is a bit too fine and thin so I found it too greasy and heavy for my hair. Would be perfect if you have thicker hair.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very fine hair that is wavy This texturing paste gave my waves the definition they needed! I took off one star because it does have drying alcohols and silicones. Being a wavy I try to shy away from those ingredients that could damage my waves. I won't use this everyday but for special occasions it makes the waves and layers POP! No sticky! Kristin Ess Fragrance Free Texturizing Paste
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this texturizing paste! It has a pleasant scent and leaves a great finish to my hair. It helped give my hair some texture and really helped with taking flyaways for pony tail looks. It's also very easy to wash out once you're done for the day. Make sure to warm it up in your palms before using as it says in the instructions. I never used a product like this prior to this one, but I see myself repurchasing this item after I finish this bottle. Would recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical about this at first but I ended up loving this product. I've used it for curls and straight hair. It kept my curls looking good for 4 days and also helped keep my hair straight and sleek when I put it on my straight hair. It isn't sticky or tacky and it also says fragrance free but it has a clean scent to it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] first off and for most, this product definitely defines your hair and adds volume and shine. however, this product, although does not have much of a scent out of the bottle, once applied in your hair, it doesn't give it a particularly lovely smell. I think they could work on their formula in giving it a better scent, but that's my opinion. if you like unscented hair care products, this would be good for you.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was also really surprised with this product. It actually gave some definition to my curls which makes me very happy because I love my curls! It also makes the texture very smooth and soft as well! It's not something I would use everyday, however I use it when I have a special occasion where I want my hair to stay curly and stay in place for the occasion! Overall, I'm very impressed by this product and I'll use it more often!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Helps to tame my frizz and fly away's and doesn't make my hair super greasy like other similar products I have tried in the past. I also like how there is no scent. In my opinion, some Kristin Ess products smell great and others I'm not a fan of. I have finer hair. If you have thicker hair, you probably need this product + hairspray.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the texture of the product is more like a hair lotion and not really what i expect for a texturizing paste. it is very easy to apply and feels moisturizing, but doesnt add much texture because this doesnt provide any hold. i would expect it to be something more like the Living Proof Forming Paste which adds a lot of grit, hold, and texture. the one from Kristen Ess is more like a conditioning leave in hair lotion. the positives is that it is totally fragrance free and i really like that about this product. it also has a metal squeezey tube which gives it a more vintage hair product sort of feel. i think if your hair is dry or has loose curls of waves, this can be nice to help style your hair, but since my hair type is straight and not dry, it doesnt make my hair look any different. i think it isnt a bad product, but i knocked off 2 stars cuz it isnt a texturizing paste and i think is mis-marketed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied this in my hair after I curled to try and give the curls a bit more texture . I didn't notice too much of a difference and it maybe weighed down my hair a bit . It's fragrance free but there is a bit of a smell to it , I think I would prefer it with a touch of fragrance .
