Easy assembly with a little time and patience. An extra hand was helpful for standing it up. Looks great, I only wish the back arched panel had a black stripe along the outer edge, as the natural color is visible from the outside. Shelf heights are tricky, and if using tall books/decor, you might have to leave a shelf out or lay books flat.

Took me 5 hours to assemble and needs more direction after page 14. Still unsure the top was on correctly. I like this 2 tone combo however when I looked at photos online it looks blue but its really black so slightly disappointed . the top which is the whole reason I brought it doesnt sit flush and was extremely hard to assemble. This is extremely heavy wood overall so make sure whatever room you assemble it stays. Wood is good quality but again that too part isn't wood its like plastic held in with wood portions very disappointed as this retro look was the whole reason I brought it. I suppose it looks fine. And the shelves are very deep. I ordered 2 but this is huge so only 1 fit on the wall. So I be returning other. Never opened it.

Came with a huge scratch on it.
