Krups Silent Vortex 12-Cup Stainless Steel Electric Coffee Grinder

This is a very quite coffee grinder but does an awesome job and very quickly. I was undecided whether to buy or not and I am glad I did. Plus you can take the grinding bowl and store coffee or clean it without having to take whole grinder with you. Definitely recommend.

I sure glad I found it at Walmart. This is the one I've used for many years and I can't seem to buy it anywhere else. It was a little expensive but I purchased it anyway.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am super happy with my Krups Silent Vortex Electric Grinder. It is so easy to use. I love using it to grind my own coffee beans! Fresh coffee is the greatest! The grinder is relatively quiet and it's a nice compact size so it doesn't take up much space at all.

Overall very good quality. The Grinder container should be larger I am only able to fill for 9-10 cups after grinding. So I have to fill and grind Twice if I want to Brew a 10-12 cup pot. The Grinder should come with a little broom/brush, so helpful in order to get the grinds and residue out of the bottom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a coffee drinker for over ten years now. I thrive off of it. However, I have always bought already ground coffee in stores. Recently I decided to start trying to grind my own beans. Once I turned this grinder on it is VERY quiet. I grabbed my bean grind and brewed it in my coffee pot. WOW. Such a difference in flavor made me mad of all these wasted years. I will definitely be using this grinder for the foreseeable future. It also comes with a lid to put on the cup to store your beans once you grind them. The only complaint I have with this product is I wish I could do a bigger quantity at a time since I am a huge coffee drinker. However, this product works for me!

The kids bought this for their Dad for Christmas 2023- it has been used since then solely to grind coffee beans. Over the last several months the unit had grown noisier as if the motor were coming loose. Its daily grind finally took its toll the other morning and it stopped working altogether. More alarming was the fact that there was visible smoke when the cup of grounds was removed! It seemed like a very solid product. Sorry that it was not built for the necessary day to day, year to year morning cup of coffee

It is indeed quiet, but there are areas in the top of the clear plastic cap that not only trap coffee grounds, when you wash it, water wicks in and then can harden any coffee that wasn't removed. The removable basket is nice because the older model was hard to clean the grind area. Since I use it for both spiced AND coffee, it's gotta be clean! My feeling is 10 points for effort but they just replaced one problem with another. Do the engineers and QA people ever take stuff home to try ?? I noticed the issue with the first use……and I have a digree in English, not mechanical engineering!

I bought this grinder because of the great reviews. A year after using it, the rubber part that attaches the cup to the main unit wore off and now I'm unable to use it. Buying a new cup is almost the same price of buying a new unit. I expected it to last longer than a year.
