Eggcellent eggs with this organic layer feed
I love Kruse's Perfection feed for my chickens. After being frustrated with the local mills grower crumble, I found Kruse's Perfection Organic Mini Pellet Layer Feed. It's low dust and doesn't clog my feeder ports. I am getting great production from my Orpingtons in Arctic winter conditions and my eggs have excellent shell and membrane strength. I'm a Kruse's Perfection fan and also buy their Fowl %26 Flock and Scratch!

Exactly right choice!
Bantam chickens, small coop, small feeder. Mini pellets work wonderfully and they're laying even in the coldest December.

The Chickens Liked It!
I did not taste the chicken food myself, but the flock sure seemed to like it! The mini-pellet formula is nice. I'm not sure the feathered ladies could appreciate the organic nature of the feed or the essential oils, but I'm sure it was a treat for a flock that usually just gets the "cheap stuff." This seems overpriced for chicken food, but we needed the convenience of delivery at the time.

Hens didn't complain...nor should I.
Good value for organic! However, the pellet form was more of a crumble for chicks than a pellet for hens. Ah, well, they didn't complain...nor should I.

Great organic layer feed for chickens
So far these mini layered pellets seemed great. My girls love them, and I like the fact that they have essential oils.
