These gluten-free cookies are actually better than any gluten chocolate chip cookies. I bake them all the time and I keep getting how did you make those, what is your recipe, they are the best I've ever eaten. I also add pecans or walnuts to them. They are the best.
Homemade taste with quicker-fix mix. Add peanut butter to it and you've got a great peanut butter and chocolate chip cookie! Add coconut too and you've got monster cookies! This mix is easy to make and so tasty, you don't feel guilty enjoying it. And its gluten-free! What's not to like?! Z
Bought these while on vacation. Great taste and texture, even after they've completely cooled. However, as someone who bakes regularly and has my own GF chocolate chip cookie recipe. These seem to have a funny flavor in the background. Almost chemical like. Not sure what would be causing that. I would still buy these in the future when I'm not able to make my own from scratch.
Thank you..today I recieved my package in a timely manner. It contained two cookies mixes that were packaged with my laundry soap and the boxes were smashed. They were not opened and I will be able to use them. Just and fyi that maybe they could put them in a box within the box so as not to have that happen again.. I order often and I am very satisfied with my order deliveries....and this is the first time I having any issues. Thank you for your time.
The preparation instructions call for WAY too much butter and not enough liquid. Try it with 2 eggs and 4 tablespoons of butter (not 8). Add milk a tablespoon at a time if you need more liquid. An 8x8 pan takes 30-35 minutes to bake cookie bars. Final product has a bitter aftertaste, but at least the chocolate content is good.
I don't know what happened as I followed the instructions exactly but the came out very hard and not the soft, chewy cookies I had hoped for and before celiac disease Krusteaz was a go to brand. Also, for me, they didn't spread and flatten out as pictured. For me, they were very sweet and unpleasantly rich tasting. I didn't enjoy them at all. One, hint, take them off the baking sheet right away. I didn't and despite having sprayed the sheet with non-stick spray, they became glued to the sheet.
I bought these because the cookie mix I usually get was out of stock AND I thought I might need gluten free foods. As I always do, I added more chocolate chips, but other than that, I followed the directions. The cookies tasted fine, but they are VERY hard, and I was afraid that they would break my teeth! They also left an after taste that was very distasteful. I was hoping to send some to my neighbors, who are all wonderful people, but, these are not the kind of tasty cookies I would give as a gift! I won't buy them again.
Received product past good through date from a pick up order. I tried to get a refund online and I was asked to bring the expired item back to the store. How gross? Why so you can sell it to someone else? Clearly if someone is doing delivery or a pick up order they are too busy to come back up to Walmart with an expired item every time it happens with an order (which is usually around one product every order)
TOO MESSY TO MAKE, WANT YOU TO USE YOU BARE HAND TO KNEEL IT, AND IT STICKS ALL OVER YOU HAND AND WASTE TRYING TO GET ALL OF IT OFF MY HAND AN THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS KEPT SEPERATING AND FALLING OUT OF THE DOUGH WHILE I WANT TRYING TO SHAPE TO THE PAN!!! MESSY TO MAKE AND PREP, NEVER DO THAT AGAIN. THEY NEED TO FIND A WAY NOT TO USE YOU BARE AND. KINDA LIKE TAKING GLUE OFF YOU HAND; ONCE IT STICKS ON YOU HAND IT WONT COME OFF.
I normally love all of Krusteaz products, but the taste of these aren't good at all. The dough forms really well, but the aftertaste is very bitter! The only reason I'm even writing this review is in hopes that Krusteaz will change it up a bit and make the cookies better! 💜
