This helped the paint dry/harden much faster which was important since all the work was being done outside.
Excellent paint! Sprays flawlessly, dries rapidly and weathers very well. The colors match the manufacturer's original paint perfectly. I buy Krylon Farm and Implement paint for about half of what it would costs me to buy the original equipment manufacturer's paint from an equipment dealer and it's just as good if not better. I've been using Krylon Farm and Implement paint on my equipment for over fifteen years and have never had a problem of any kind with it at all. I just came to their site to see if I could match up a color for one of my tractor attachments and I easily found it. I buy this paint at my local auto parts store saving me a trip to an equipment dealership and Krylon is less money. I highly recommend this paint to anyone looking for an exact color match paint that can take the weather and abuse that farm equipment is subject to.
Great to cover scratches on an orange mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has a great color for outdoor things and great drying times. It doesn't smell like most paint. The coverage is also wonderful. I will buy again.
I painted a 87 Chevy c3500 with this coverage is great took 2 quarts for 3 coats. I wanted a rough look almost like Bedliner but not as rough, with the option of being able to remove if needed. I chose black semi-gloss it came out better than we expected. I would recommend this paint to anyone who wants to spruce up their equipment. I throughly satisfied with this paint.
I don't do reviews, but this stuff is AMAZING! It's Idiot Proof, and I would know. For example, I painted my Red Jeep Bumper in the rain (raining out - painting in the Garage) 40 degrees out (50 is recommended), and in 15 minutes you can't scratch it w your Thumbnail. You can Re-coat it ANYTIME! For example, spray it on, you see over-spray "fog", you can spray it Shiny, and it drys exactly like that.. You can continue "stacking" it, or re-coating, and it continues to cover and harden. No Runs, No drips, etc.. Yesterday, I started on a Plow Blade in 40 degree weather w #1816 John Deere Yellow from Walmart, sprayed the entire can (windy out) and in 15 min it's Dry and Hard. So I checked it next day (this morning) hard as a rock, it sinks into any Rust and you can't scratch it. (Note: I tested some 15 min Rust-Oleum right next to it and you could scratch the surface w your nail a little, pretty good but not as hard as the Krylon..) I'm a Big Fan of this paint, and hope they develop other colors, eg Black!, Lt Blue, etc. I would test this for Krylon in any color on any surface if they wanted me to, it's so good.. Walmart carries Red (I've used), Green, and John Deere Yellow (I've used), all good. The Guy at O'Reilly's (Krylon Distributer) is ordering the #1805 Caterpillar Yellow 4 me which I need 4 the Plow. Buy this! Dave.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paint is great for farm equipment. It goes on nice with a brush and dries pretty decent. We love how durable this pain is and how it protects it in all weather. This is a well known brand on our farm as we know we can depend on it from keeping things from rusting.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried to use Farm & Implement Brush on Paint however it was not the right color I needed. I wish I could send it back. I know this product is used on farm equipment and last during the hail season with minimal chopping. It covers nicely and drys fast. It is easy to use and does not need multiple coats.
I bought some of the John Deere Green Farm and Implement paint. The spray nozzles are the worst I have ever used. They are quite honestly spraying like a squirt gun. Three of the 4 cans are exactly the same, I have no reason to think the 4th will be any different, so I'm not using it in case I can return it. The color match is right on, but I might have to puncture the cans and drain into a spray gun to put this stuff on.
Yall should stop selling this line of paint It never dried 8.1.1 mix sprayed with HPLV paint gun tried to bush it on straight from the can still won't dry. 10 days I should send yall a bill for the mess your paint has on this classic car chassis parts
