This stuff is so awesome! Make sure to shake well and continue to agitate during use. Gorgeous finish. I chose to apply clear coat as some of the glitter does rub off when dry. Also works best when a matching solid color is applied as a base coat.
I just refinished a guitar with Glitter Blast and it worked great! I used two full cans with absolutely zero problems and the results were fantasic. I gave the cans a soak in warm water (don't get water into the spray nozzle) for about 30 minutes before spraying to thin out the paint inside and shook the cans well for about a full minute or two. Make sure to spray your project with a similar color base coat before hand. Follow these steps and your glitter blast experience should go perfectly smooth! Thanks Krylon!
The product itself is excellent, however I got it for one of my projects and just after a couple of sprays the spraying nozzle got stuck in and I lost more than half of it. I don't know why it happened but now I can't use it anymore. So basically it was a waste of money I need a replacement of my money back.
bought my first can and I was spraying letters for a bridal shower. it got me through the front of one letter and only half of the front of the second letter, then it stopped spraying and just started to sprits out clear liquid. so I returned it and got a second can and it did the same thing. just emailed customer service so we will see what they say
I purchased 6 cans of glitter blast in gold. 3 cans worked. Same problem as others have stated. Just stopped working or plain clear spray came out despite shaking. Fir the price of this product, I am very dissatisfied that half of them didn't work. The 3 that did work were beautiful, however.
This was my first time using gold glitter blast paint, and I was painting a cupcake stand for my wedding. I am very familiar with spray paint and how to use it, and I was very unhappy with the outcome with this particular product. First off, the can kept malfunctioning and would not quit spraying after I removed my finger from the spray button so paint went everywhere and was wasted. But before that issue, I shook the can for 2 minutes as stated on the can and stood back from my cupcake stand as instructed. Still, the paint came out so watery and runny that it just dripped and caused a mess. I only got about 10 good sprays out of the bottle for the $9 I paid for it. I ran out halfway through my project so I had to go and get more. I didn't want to purchase a new can because I was so disappointed in the first one, but I had to in order to finish my project. Little did I know that the second can wouldn't even be enough. Once again, the paint was like water and wasn't even enough to do the other half of my cupcake stand. So at this point I had paid more for the paint than I had for the cupcake stand I was painting and still didn't have enough! It was ridiculous, and I ended up just trashing the cupcake stand and buying a new one because I was not about to purchase another can of Krylon Glitter Blast. Do not use it!
This item was defective, It would only spray clear and once I started to spray it would not stop. I had to return it to Walmart.
After spraying the color, the glue in the can never stopped comming out. The project was a mess. I returned the first can to the store, but then gave up when the problem persisted.
I bought three cans of Glitter Blast to coat some small plastic buckets to make gum drop props for a dance recital. I opened the first can and began to spray. The nozzle quickly clogged. I was unable to get it unclogged, so I opened the second can and used that nozzle. It worked for a while, but soon enough it clogged as well. Now I have three clogged nozzles and no way to get the rest of the glitter spray out of my three cans.
nozzle jammed and emptied the whole can after it was set down.
