Kryptonite 12mm U-Lock Bicycle Lock

I received my Kryptonite High Security Bicycle U-Lock about a week ago. The Kryptonite High Security Bicycle U-Lock is a security level 4 out of 5. The Kryptonite High Security Bicycle U-Lock comes with an easy to use carrying bracket to mount to your bike when you are riding. If you register your key with Kryptonite under their Key Safe Program it will be easy to get a new key if you loose yours. The Kryptonite High Security Bicycle U-Lock has a reinforced collar over end keyway and has a bent foot for ease of use, and yes it really makes it easier. What comes in the package with the Kryptonite High Security Bicycle U-Lock is the bike lock, two keys, carrying bracket and directions. The only draw back I have found is the directions are printed so small it is hard to read. Other than that this is an awesome bike lock. I 100% recommend the Kryptonite High Security Bicycle U-Lock.

I received Kryptonite High Security Bicycle U-Lock. This u-lock is a good and strong quality lock. It has a nice rubber covering to prevent any scratching to the bicycle. The keys are a good size and are very easy to use to open or secure the lock. I recommend using a cable lock for added security to the entire bike. I recommend this Kryptonite u-lock.

Great to have if you want to connect your frame to a post. It's not the biggest but it's cute! lol It is very east to use and comes with a couple of keys. It helps if you get a cable just to secure more of your bike. I got it specifically for my frame and then got another cable to seal the deal. The light is extra but great to have at night. It's really neato!

I ride my bike to the park several times a week. I like to park it and walk around. I've used this bike lock 4 times so far, and every time I returned to my bike, it was there. The lock seems extremely sturdy and durable. I feel secure with leaving my bike while using the Kryptonite U-lock.

'U' make me feel safe. 'U' are the perfect blend of security and style. 'U' are rugged. 'U' fit nice and neat on my frame. 'U' now snap onto the frame bracket with ease. 'U' make me happy.

Great for the $15. Comes with screws and nuts to attach the mount on your bike, also came with a random piece of black rubber/silicone, not sure what that is for. Had a little difficulty finding a good spot on my bike to attach the mount, since my bike does not have a top tube frame. (its a unisex bike) Definitely would not get picked or cut like most wire locks, and if that does somehow happen, they will pay you upto $500 for your stolen bike, AS LONG AS you registered the lock after buying it.

There are many different sizes of bike locks, but this is a large 4” x 8” sized lock. Its' shackle is made of 12mm hardened steel. This means they will have a hard time trying to saw this one off!! There is a chart that you can look to see where you will use the lock and this one is a great option for college campuses, suburban, and busy cities. Others are rated for rural areas or bike car carriers. It is a 4 out of 5 on the security scale. It is one of the best locks out there to protect your bike from thieves. It also comes with an optional $500 Anti-Theft Protection Offer. It has a bent foot that makes it easy to put the U part in the main bar. It also has a High Security Disc Style Cylinder with a center keyway that defends against leverage attacks. If you register with their Key Safe program you will also receive 2 additional keys free. This lock has a LIFETIME warranty. I would definitely recommend this lock. When I lifted it out of the package I thought, “Man this is a heavy lock!” As I learned more about it, it is definitely a great lock!

Wish the mount was a bit more stable as the lock moves back and forth when riding. I have a Velcro strap left over from some cords I use to secure it

because my husband was on his bike riding it with it on his bike and i bottom of it felled off
