Kryptonite KryptoFlex 1018 10mm Key Cable Bicycle Lock

I liked it because it had keys to lock it with and I didn't have to remember a code. The only thing I would recommend is that this come in a longer length. A 10-foot length would be better for what I need it for. Otherwise, I was very happy with it.

Love this lock! Although it’s advertised as a bike lock, I found it worked on our electric scooter. The lock comes with two keys which is great for people who lose keys. It’s me. I’m people. Ha! The key is easy to use and the lock opens easily using it. My husband tried ti cut it and was not successful.

This is one tuff bike lock. It's portable and easy to wrap around the bike. This cabled lock is covered with rubber and not plastic. This lock makes me more at ease when I need to leave my bike. This lock is different, making it harder to steal your property.

The Kryptonite Kryptoflex Key Cable Bicycle Lock. This is a heavy duty lock, the Cable is substantial not easily cut. There are 2 Keys included the Lock itself is solid and the shape makes it harder to tamper with. Overall this is a great option I would recommend this Bicycle Cable Lock.

Strong cable & lock . Package says for bike, but since i don't have a bike, I'm using it to lock up my trailor. Works great! Strong 6" chain and the cover is rubber and not plastic. Which is a good thing. Now, if someone wants to steal my trailor, (its a thing here) they're going to have to work hard at work at it. I would definitely recommend this bike lock.

This cable is about 3/8" thick & about 6' long. It came with 2 keys. The inner part looks to be very sturdy woven wire ...it looks like it would be hard to cut through. The locking end slides in with ease & it also unlocks easily. I can think of many others uses for us also...we go camping alot & my husband has already said he can lock down our generator with this cable. The entire item feels sturdy & works well.

As far as budget price bike locks go, this Kryptonite KryptoFlex 1018 10mm Key Cable Bicycle Lock is a pretty good one. I opted for the keyed version, but this lock is also offered in a combination version for those who prefer a combination lock.  The cable and lock seem strong, sturdy and well made, and is very easy to use. The cable is tightly coiled to take up minimal storage space on your bike, and when stretched out is 6 ft. in length. Although I would not call this a high security lock and cable, it should serve you perfectly well for a quick lock-up in a relatively safe area. It would likely take a pretty hefty bolt cutter to cut through the 10mm cable, so you should be just fine unless someone really, REALLY wants your bike and happens to have a pair of bolt cutters with them. But in fairness, you can probably say this for 95% of the bike locks on the market. It will definitely keep away the juvenile delinquents, though. Moral of the Story: Use common sense when parking your bike.  The keys are engraved with a unique key code that you can register online with Kryptonite, and in the event that you lose both your keys, they will send you a new set for free. I didn’t know this until recently, but Kryptonite is a subsidiary of the very popular Schlage Company, a U.S. based lock manufacturer that been around for over a hundred years. 

This works great for securing any item that it will fit through. Works great for locking my yard equipment to the trailer for lawn care service. Sturdy and strong without being too bulky or in the way. Thin cable works great for threading through small wheels.
