KT-AS110D Two Post Asymmetrical Vehicle Lift 11,000lbs Single Point Lock Release

If you have the space and can turn a wrench this is worth investing in. Ordering was super easy. Delivery was made simple for me as I went to the carrier's location and had it loaded onto my flatbed. If you transport it yourself be mindful of the package as the components were only held in with bubble wrap. Ideally a 10' bed would be ideal. I did lose a part in transit and needed to go back for it. It was not damaged and there was no one behind me. Assembly was mostly straight forward, There is a diagram in the instructions but no template for the bolts. This required me to set up the lift in place and mark and measure everything. A stringline and metric tape measure made thing go a bit smoother. A 7/8" drill bit is required and the anchors needed to go in pretty deep at 6" to develop capacity. I was able to use the baseplate as a guide and drill in to the concrete mostly perpendicular to the floor. I did notice some heat induced distortion in the baseplate probably from the welding process. I worked through this with a thin layer of non-shrink grout under the baseplate. I leveled the tower on the grout then returned the next day to torque the anchors. With the towers up, I began the install of the cables, the instructions are not super clear, just know that the cables go from one side to the other and up over the top pulley so they need to be at opposite directions in the towers (there should be a photo). Even tightening the cables is a bit more difficult and is necessary to ensure even lifting at each tower. You can play with that to make them level. Hydraulics are easy to assemble. Arms go right in (and they unlock themselves when they hit the floor which I thought was great!) Electric (240v 12 amp) wire instructions are totally lacking and require you to look up the connections using the part number. I used the high limit cutoff in series with the green lift button. Once connected I was impressed with the results for the cost.
