Kuhn Rikon 4-Inch Swiss Metal Peeler

I've used, and often marveled at the Kühn Rikon plastic handle Swiss peeler for two decades; and in fact, I still own my original one that I purchased for $2 back in 1999. When I changed careers, and attended culinary school in 2004, I noticed that every commercial kitchen setting in which I worked, had one of these in a drawer somewhere. For hand peeling, they are the industry standard. So, when I saw the new stainless version of the Kühn Rikon Swiss peeler, I was all in! It is true that this device is THE BEST peeler of its style. There are other brands, including a variety of cheap Chinese-made junk available, but don't be fooled; there is only one original Kühn Rikon Swiss peeler. I've noticed another respected manufacturer now offers a copy of the veritable plastic peeler; but nothing is as good as this Stainless Kühn Rikon Swiss peeler. The upgraded stainless blade is super sharp; so please be careful! Certainly, this product has my recommendation for purchase. in fact, I am presenting one to my fellow "foodie," youngest daughter with one for her birthday. Many may think this an odd gift; but certainly not a foodie!
