The bag work great for my 7lb chihuahua, would definitely purchase again. But I hate the colors so much!! Like please make this in a navy, forest green, brown, anything omg!

I have a 10 lb maltipoo. I started off by buying the rucksack. I returned it because it was way too big on me (you can see my full review on the rucksack page). I was nervous to buy this one because it was brand new and had no reviews, and though I liked that it would be smaller for the sake of how I looked, I was nervous it would be too tight and small for my dog. It kind of is… I mean he's fine, but it's basically exactly his size so he can't lay down or anything. But it works, and it looks like a normal backpack on my 5'2” petite frame. Don't love the colors lol, I always prefer black. But whatever, it's not a huge deal. I got the red one. I like the different options for closing the bag up all the way or having the screened portion or being open, and the fact that you can hide the fabric when you have it open. I don't think I would leave my dog in the backpack fully closed up for long periods of time. I don't know that I feel comfortable that the side mesh panels are enough air. I put him in the bag for about 20 minutes, and I felt like he was too warm when I took him out. So now I always keep the main pocket opened just a tiny bit even when I'm closing the bag up, just to try and provide more air. But I'm using this bag for when I need to take him inside of stores, so it's not usually for long periods of where I need to “hide“ him. Any other time I would use it, I could leave it open all the way. I will point out, in the pictures the way that the bottle openers clip to the top of the straps… if you have to adjust the straps to give yourself more room at all, the bottle openers are not going to clip to the top of the bag, and therefore will be hanging down. Overall, very happy with this purchase. My dog is normally a barker, but when I close him up in this bag, even though he doesn't want to get inside of the bag, he must feel secure in it because he surprisingly doesn't bark at all! Which is awesome since the main reason I want to use the bag is to sneak him into places where dogs aren't normally allowed lol. It's high-quality and exactly what I need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This backpack is super nice if you need something to carry a small dog (or cat!) Up to 15 lbs. The blue is a nice shade (not too bright, not too dark) and the cognac brown faux leather accents compliment it perfectly. It's fashionable and looks like a nice, adult backpack rather than a carrier. Outside has a couple of pockets (treats, poo bags, possibly a thinner leash) and shoulder straps are adjustable to fit a wide range of sizes. The inside has a little tether you can hook to a collar and a soft, cushy pad at the bottom for them to sit (pretty sure removable and washable). There are air vents at the sides and the main zip down pocket has 2 layers- the outer layer to close it up and the inner layer which is a mesh, breathable layer. You can open and roll down the outer layer and tuck it into its own pocket on the outside of the pack, which is an awesome feature! The top also has a handle that snaps closed to secure or can be used to hand carry (instead of backpack style). This is functional, very useful, and looks great. Only feedback is I was surprised it didn't have padded shoulder straps, but after carrying a 12 lb dog in it I didn't find it was enough weight to warrant needing padding anyway. Highly reccomend!

I've been looking for a bag just like this for shorter trips for my chiweenie but it's going back because the pleather dual carry handles are really in the way and stick out. I can't even tell where they hid them in the product photos but I tried folding them away several times and they just pop back out. I considered cutting them off since I'm more likely to use it as just a backpack but unfortunately this would make the backpack look really weird. I wish they were detachable or not included at all.

Beautifully made however it's a little smaller than I was expecting, it may hold up to 15lbs but my 9lb terrier & 9lb chi both were a very tight and uncomfortable fit. I don't doubt that the bag can handle the weight as it's made so well... it could just be a little deeper to give some room.

Purchased from another site. This is very cute and it's a good size for a small dog however that said I don't favor the handles and it needs to be available in more colors please!

It would be nice if this was made in gray or black, the bright colors are way too much! Also, please update to include the mesh screen so there's no way for a dog to escape.

It does not fit an 11lb dog, and it does not fit a tablet. Quality seems good, but certainly too small for a tablet or 11lb dog.

The pack was the perfect size & I reallu liked the firm bottom but when zipped, it seemed a bit suffocating. My dog was in there less than 10 minutes & the pack was feeling so warm against my back, I took it off to find my dog panting & overly warm. The whole thing is lined w fabric that's not breathable & it's not safe.
