less like paint, more like an oil pastel, but super easy for toddlers and bright. It definitely gives its own color and texture, but they are great.

they're not markers their paint sticks acrylic paint sticks hard to paint with easy to mark

Too small for my liking
I loved the size of these, but the paint was all gone after one class. No more than one child could use each color. We went through three pakages in one period with 20 students. Stick with the chunky model. Too much plastic waste for the amount of product.
