It works great

We used this product to stop our guinea pig's toe from bleeding after she moved when cutting her nails. It certainly works quickly but I belive it stings for a few seconds because she was not happy for a few seconds after we used it. Make sure you have plenty of yummy treats near by just in case you need to use it.

It's not like a powder it's hard

I clipped the tiniest piece from my dog's nail. He gets regular trims, so I don't know how his quick would be so close to the end. It bled like crazy. The powder didn't seem to stop the bleeding very effectively. We're just going to stick to using the grinder instead of the clippers from now on.

Stultify powder is a lifesaver if you accidentally hit the quick while trimming your dog's nails. Didn't get to try this because the lid had come off during shipping and I had to return it.

First of all, this product came to me in a box labeled with a return label from Walmart returns. The product itself did not have any sort of seal on it, it was 1/2 full, and the powder inside the tube was as hard as a brick (instead of a powder). I was very disappointed, as I would never use a product like this!
