Kwikset is the best
We haven't installed it yet but I am happy to say that Kwikset is the only locking system that I have ever purchased. It has never failed to keep our door systems safe and secure.

4 OF THESE IN MY HOUSE FROM 25 YEARS AGO. THE INTERNAL SPRING BROKE ON 2 OF THEM MAKING IT HARD TO LOCK / UNLOCK. I THOUGH THAT WAS GREAT QUALITY BUT IT GOT EVEN BETTER WHEN KWIKSET WARRANTIED THEM FOR FREE AND SENT THE REPLACEMENTS IN NO TIME.

Kwikset 400T and 660 deadbolts
I'm a locksmith and I have Kwikset Tylo on my own house. The front lock, which gets the most use, has been in service over 10 years. The only reason for replacing now the brass finish is deteriorating. The other doors have been in service over 25 years and still functioning properly. Not bad for such a inexpensive lock.

Good product, but I'm planning on returning as the exact same product was ten dollars less at Lowes.

easy to install
This lock set was very easy to install, only requiring a minimum of modification. I had to use a file on both of the door knobs to get them to fit together , the deadbolts were fine. They were replacements and fit into the existing holes.

not quite as good as they were years ago
I HAVE USED KWIKSET TYLO LOCKSETS, AND 660 DEAD BOLTS FOR CLOSE TO 40 YEARS....THEY ARE EASY TO KEY AND MASTER KEY, AND HELD UP GREAT IN APARTMENT USE AS WELL AS PERSONAL USE......LATELY THOUGH, I HAVE NOTICED THE LOCK SHAFTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH PLASTIC....NOT GOOD....I WORE ONE OUT IN A MATTER OF A COUPLE YEARS AT MY SHORE HOUSE, WITH ONLY SUMMER USE.......FORTUNATELY NO ONE GOT LOCKED OUT....ALSO HAD AN ISSUE WITH A TYLO SMART KEY THAT "QUIT" IN ONLY 2 YEARS....THE SMART KEY LOCKSETS ARE GREAT!!!...KWIKSET REPLACED THE ENTIRE LOCK FOR ME IN SHORT ORDER....I ALSO NOTICED THAT THEY HAVE NOW PUT PLASTIC INSIDE THE TURN KNOB...ANOTHER NOT GOOD......HOPE IT LASTS OK....I HAVE MOVED UP TO THE NEXT LEVEL OF LOCK SETS NOW SINCE THEY STILL HAVE THE METAL LOCK SHAFTS......STILL A KWIKSET USER, BUT A BIT CONCERNED ABOUT FUTURE DURABILITY ISSUES....

Two lock sets two losers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the first one just installed it recently. It hangs up when you turn the knob. Purchased the second one the next day does the same exact thing. Haven't tried the third on yet but not real hopeful.
