Kwikset 9240CNT-514 Contemporary Powerbolt Electronic SmartCode Deadbolt with RCAL Latch and RCS Strike Matte Black Finish

Did not receive the lock I ordered.... I did not even receive a lock it was some static meter reader. I had to send back the wrong product and get a refund because they could not just send the out the correct product. Very disappointed

Worked great for a year then stopped working. I tried resetting it multiple times, changing the batteries, I tried working with support but to no resolution. I stopped using the lock because I could not get it to work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the overall design of the keypad and deadbolt. It matches my matte black decor completely. My door looks super stylish and I love how easy it was to install this keypad and deadbolt. The set up is also very easy to customize my pass code. It is battery operated, which I really like and it's super convenient for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just purchased a new home and we wanted a bit more security. This keypad deadbolt is absolutely perfect for us! It was easy to install and really it's so nice to be able to use the keypad! Worth the money in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy to install and set up. Use either the key or the code you choose, but don't leave the house without your key, 'just in case'. I couldn't get the code to work at first so I stepped back for a while, then uninstalled and reinstalled the lock and it works fine, but I'm still a little leery of it deciding to not work again so the key is always with me. I may be the odd person where the pad decided to not do its thing, I haven't read of anyone else having a problem (reviews) so it may have been a problem with the 'installer'. Anyway, deadbolts are always a good idea as an extra safety measure and this is an inexpensive way for that peace of mind with the convenience of the keypad.

It's perfect for kids who tend to forget their keys or petsitters. It was easy for my husband to install and only took him a few minutes. I definitely feel more secure with this lock than with Wi-Fi locks. This is a great alternative.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like the kwikset electronic deadbolt. This lock was very easy to install in place of our traditional lock set. Having a coded lock makes it very convenient to grant access to friends and vendors when we are away. It is easy to change the code. It is so nice to walk the dog without having to drag keys around. We like the contemporary look of the lock.
