[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Install was pretty easy. The gave detailed paper instructions and also an option to download an app to visually watch it installed. I like that I don't need to take the whole back off to change the batteries, the back slides up without needing to unscrew anything. Programming is simple. I could program different codes including one time use codes. Also can program it to automatically lock after 30 seconds. It has an option to make the auto lock longer too. I like that once you punch in the code it unlocks with out having to turn anything to unlatch it. Very happy with the performance.

Not only was it easy to install but it included a toll to make the manual lock compatible with current house keys. Now we have keyless and manual option without having to go make new keys. The smart code 260 also has the option to set multiple lock codes for families. The programming was not difficult at all and now we each have our own personal entry code. Locking is super fast and done with one touch and unlock is quick when bringing in groceries. I am super impressed and would love one for the back door now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Smartcode 260 Lock. It has a nice and clean design. I used it for my basement door and love how it looks and works. The screen seems to be a little fragile but just be careful with it when you are installing it. It provides safety and convenience and that's exactly what I need! I would definitely recommend this product.

I purchased two of these to enable my grand-daughters to be able to enter the house without worrying about carrying keys. The installation is extremely well illustrated in the manual, so it was very easy to do, especially if you are replacing an existing deadbolt. I chose Kwikset as I have had great performance and longevity in the past with their products. Unfortunately only one of the two keypads functions correctly as the keypad on the second unit is completely unresponsive and does not light up. I have uninstalled the unit, checked the plugs, replaced the batteries, and performed a factory reset on both, just to make sure they were performed correctly. I will be uninstalling both and going with a better manufactured brand.
