My son bought this for me because I have some hearing loss and if my cell phone wasn't in the same room as me I would not hear it ring. With this phone I have one in each room so I don't miss calls now. they work off of yor cell phone so you don't need an extra landline phone to pay for and you can use either the house phone or cell phone without having to switch anything back and forth. A great addition for anyone with a hearing problem or anyone else for that matter.I recomend this phone as it works good so far unlike another system I tried first that never worked good and most of the time not a tall. If you don't want the headset version you can buy it cheaper.
So far I am very satisfied with the phone. I have it linked via Bluetooth to both of my iPhones. There is a little programming involved so just follow the instructions. The phones connected flawlessly and even copied my contacts from the iPhone to the Panasonic which was very impressive. I have only had the phones for less than a week but all my Panasonic phones in the past have all stood the test of time for reliability.
bought this for the bluetooth feature for the one phone i had would delay my calls when i swiched to a smart phone. this one works great.
I really like this phone and answering machine. It is so easy to use. The only reason I did not rate it with five stars is because I thought I would be able to use the link to cell since my phone is Bluetooth capable. I have since found out that you must have a smartphone to link this to your cell phone. There is nothing written saying that it must be a smartphone but when I called the helpline, that is what the customer service representative told me. I would have liked the advertising to reflect this truth. I am disappointed, but I do like the phones, so I plan on keeping them. I like the fact that the ring is not annoying, the answering machine can be accessed from the handset, a voice lets you know what phone number is calling, the answering machine blinks and shows how many messages you have, the sound is crystal clear, there is a volume control for the ringer and the handset, and the design of the phone makes it easy to hold on your shoulder. All in all, it is a nice phone.
The larger buttons are very helpful. The handset itself is larger than the panasonic phone I bought a few years ago and do not use. You have to use the manual for reference to menu shortcuts to change settings as simple as ringer volume, push #*6281 to change it !! Odd for me, maybe not for you. (The cordless phone I was using I bought in the 1980's.) Overall a great phone. Will try the link-to-cell feature soon. Wish it had more different ring tones to choose from. I preferr the old fashion tones. I have the base mounted on the kitchen wall, it could have been designed to fit closer, more compact to the wall, (not stick out so much), but it is acceptable. The intrercom feature will come in handy, as does the talking caller ID
Works well with my cell phone. Nice large buttons.
The phone is similar to the black model I had, except it is a little shorter. The negatives are that is does not have a white screen when you use it, but the yellow and there is no speaker phone on base. That is why I gave it 4 stars. I mainly bought and kept it for the silver color. Also, I did not need all 3 phones.
this phone you have to use codes-to me it's very annoying to have to use codes i don't understand why panasonic would make a phone like that-i return it
I was terribly upset. It came with one handset that did not work. So now I have to mail the one handset back to Panasonic for repair or replacement and pay for it. I had not had the item a day hardly. And it took a long time trying to get support. So Then I found out this was an old model, 2012. You need to consider the vendors you let sell on your sight. It represents your company. So I bought a new product that was defective and the model was 6 years old.
