Hands down the most corn tasting tortilla you can buy, if you want that corn flavor in your tacos, enchiladas, tostadas, etc. these will not dissapoint.
I really like the taste of these corn tortillas, but oftentimes they're delivered to me all crumbled up. So that's why I gave it a three star.
I bought them before and they were ok but these ones the pkg felt hard outside so when I opened them they were shaped like a bended frito hard, stock together and smelly like rancid I can assure you I will not buy them again maybe it was a one time pkg like that but I am not taking chances since I buy online and cannot go to the store. not sure how to take a screenshot or pic but I will learn and if there is a next time for an item to review and is not good I will take a picture. I could have called and returned or get my money back but sometimes its not possible thank you.
They weren't expired, but they were moldy. I didn't notice this until after I had filled and rolled some of them for enchiladas. So, not only did this waste my money on the tortillas, but also for the meat, cheese, spices, etc for the filling that was used in them before I realized they weren't safe to eat.
I have tried various brands of corn tortillas and sadly, this too is as bad os other brands. The taste is horrible. I decided to drive 12 miles to a carneceria to buy freshly made authentic yellow corn tortillas from now on.
Texture is very mealy, the taste is disgusting. My usual tortillas were sold out so I got these to make chicken fajitas. None of us were able to choke down a bite. Avoid these at all costs.
I don't think these are safe to eat . The tortillas smelled very strongly of ammonia. They were discolored as well. I didn't eat any of them. I just threw them away.
I was hoping to like these tortillas, but can't do it. I opened the package and got a strong plastic chemical smell. I thought it was just from the wrapping. I heated up the tortillas in some oil to add them to my enchiladas and the smell increased. Fortunately, the spices from the sauce were able to diminish the chemical scent when we sat down to eat.
I opened fresh from store and broke in pieces too fragile and crumbly I do not recommend! I did not eat it for taste and just trashed them
The package had a tear in it about an inch long. Some of the shells were broken n cracked that I couldn't use.
