Had these delivered. They were good but careless shopper lost the twist tie and sent an open bag. I don't have a ziplock bag so I have to tie bag shut to try to keep them fresh. Annoying really.
This brand of corn tortillas is the best I've found. They stay fresh for a long time, have a great flavor and texture, and crisp up perfectly when lightly warmed on stove. We make tacos with these and use as the tortilla in homemade crunchwraps.
I like this brand. It has good flavor and they last longer than the expiration date shows. much longer if you keep them in the refrigerator. They have superior flavor over the white corn tortillas.
These are fairly good especially for the price. You have to check the expiration dates though.
I could not figure out for the life of me how to make the tortilla softer. I tried lightly toasting it, and heating it up in the microwave, but neither really worked, I ended up just eating them straight out of the package, as that ended up being the easiest and best texture. so thus, they broke apart easily no matter what I did. but the taste was good
The product was fine. The main reason I gave the overall experience a less than 5 rating was that both times I used the service, there were delivery issues. One time I received a substitution for a product unavailable, and the substituted item was unrelated to the item ordered and was not something I could use. The only other time I used the delivery service, I didn't receive all items ordered but received someone else's large order. I did receive a refund for the items not received; however, I was disappointed that the items wrongly delivered to me could not be picked up and I should either keep them or donate them. A food pantry happily received most of the items.
these tortillas were bagged with heavy items. and it folded some tortillas which now they r broken pieces. they do not belong in a bag with heavy items
Walmart doesn't carry El Milagros brand shells as every other grocery store does( even Aldi).so I tried this and it's definitely no El Milagros… tastes different and cooks different! burns fast when heating up in pan w/ butter. Will ONLY purchase in case of dyer emergency !
Even though the expiration date is 6/28/26, the tortillas are not soft. They are hard around the edges and tough towards the bottom. The shopper probably didn't know how to check for freshness. I won't use them. I'm taking them back to Walmart.
Tortilla all broken up
