I love this cheese, we mix it with other cheeses to get a well rounded flavor. Makes great nacho and taco topping. It really helps that it is pre shredded but still melts well. It's also creamy and smooth when making dips. Definitely will purchase again and again.

This cheese is pricier than other cheeses, but it's like it's been freshly grated. The taste is excellent. It melts well. Easy to spread. Does not clump. Love on tacos and enchiladas and burritos. And, quesadillas.

My go-to Queso Quesadilla cheese is Walmart's own brand. This was a substitute in a recent delivery for it at a couple dollars more. I find it dryer and with a slightly gritty texture - I do eat shredded cheeses right out of the bag as well as melt them. Maybe this has more anticaking added to make it that way, but overall, I still prefer the Great Value product. There are even more expensive Queso cheeses, but this one I wouldn't recommend. A bag of shredded Pepper Jack cheese would be my future substitution. This is by Bar S, likely the same people who make decent hot dogs.

The cheese is covered in a thick powder that I can only assume is cornstarch to prevent the cheese from sticking together. It doesn't affect the taste of the cheese, but that's not saying much as the cheese itself didn't taste like queso, rather white cheddar or another similar milk cheese. The taste is so faint though that it's essentially non-existent, like eating shredded tofu covered in cornstarch. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone for any reason.

Paid for 16 oz of cheese and got 6! This is grounds for a lawsuit. Despicable behavior by the manufacturer in walmart!
