La Choy Beef Chow Mein, Beef and Vegetables in Sauce, 42 oz

I was raised on this as a kid we had at least once every two weeks maybe more loved it then and love it now hasn't changed at all if anything it got better they haven't beef and chicken like them both

I've loved La choy chow mein since i was a kid. Thats a long time ago, but its still that tasty chowmien that I really enjoy. don't forget the noodles and soy sauce!

We have been eating La Choy beef chop sue since we were kids in the seventies! Still taste great for a fast easy meal today! Don't forget your noodles by LaChoy to go with it.

This Chow Mein is great flavor, very meaty, low carbs and low calories. I love the taste and nutritional value. Even my Grandkids love it and they're very picky. LOL

Easy, tasty, healthy meal. Doesn't have many Chinese vegies though (I buy cans of bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, baby corn and bean sprouts to add to skillet). These cans will work for 2-4 meals. Carrots are not really Chinese

It's been several years since I ate La Choy chow main. Sadly, like most packaged food, the price has gone up and the quality has gone down. In the veggie can were a ton of bean sprouts, copious amounts of diced carrots, about a teaspoon of red peppers and exactly 4 slices of water chestnuts... that's it. Used to be a much better blend and variety of vegetables. Used to have some baby corn, but that is no more. Taste-wise it's ok, but definitely lacking the quality and quantity of vegetables it used to have.

You are paying for gravy. Not much in the veggie or meat areas of this product. Time has not be kind to this brand because it used to be so tasty. Not now.

The taste was bland, had to add some sweet-n-sour sauce, salt and pepper. It truly was like a really cheap, generic brand of beef vegetable soup. There were few low mein noodles, beef and about 5 water crescents. The "beef and vegetables in sauce" did not add much thickness to the mein. I ended up adding great value saltine crackers and just ate it like soup. I will not purchase LaChoy Beef Chow Mein again. You know, I bought this because it was my mom's birthday. I wanted a reminder of her because she always made the chicken version of it when we were growing up. All four kids really liked it. We never ate out because of finances, so, this was a special dinner for us. We were having chinese food! Well, mom was the BEST cook and must have added something! She probably did because she truly made sure we never went without and made us feel special! Thank you for the fond memories LaChoy and mom.

Without a doubt, the most horrible thing I have ever tasted! From the time the can was opened it smelled rancid. It tasted worse and had to throw all of it in the trash. No way that my family was interested and the dog even sniffed and turned his head!

I didn't requested beef chow mein. And what I had ordered was cheaper then the beef one.Like to have my money back on the this one. It is sitting on my porch waiting for Walmart to pickup and return it to the store!
