La Costeña Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce, 7 oz

I love this brand. I chop up all the peppers and mix the whole can with an 18oz raspberry preserves and drape the spread over a bar of cream cheese….its the best!

Where have these been ?!?! They are soooo good!! They are spicy so be careful. I added them to cottage cheese and cheddar powder for a delicious high protein Mac n cheese recipe. I need to find more things to add them to, but I will start with adding them to sauces for tacos etc. delicious!

We love Mexican food, eat a lot of it. These peppers add that little something extra from time to time. I dont use them all the time but it does change dishes. I like them especially with shrimp or fish tacos. Wont say better or worse than other jalapenos but a little someting different is a good thing from time to time.

This is the only brand of chipotle peppers we buy. We have tried different ones, but so far we have yet to find some that taste good. These have a smoky, earthy sweetness from the tomatoes, and a sharp vinegary tang taste. They are soft in texture and vary from mild to hot. Of course not all peppers spice level are the same, but we add them in Albondigas, blend them in certain sauces for dishes, and use the sauce in our sandwiches. We highly recommend this brand when it comes to chipotle peppers. We also get their jalapenos.

Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce are a great way to add smokey heat flavor to many recipes. I like to put them in my small food processor to puree, then spoon it in a small silicone cube mold and freeze, to not waste any from going bad in the refrigerator. Also you can mix with butter and brown sugar for a great condiment for sweet potatoes

I recently used this product as part of a marinade making Adobada I hope I spelled that correctly. Anyway the meat turned out fantastic. My son had just graduated highschool so of course there was a bbq and let me tell you what. I got more "this is the best meat I have ever eaten compliments" than any other chef ever. I have had numerous people ask me to cook the meat again over and over! Honestly I never choose canned over fresh but this is an exception that I will make time and time again! I'm not one to leave reviews unless there is a problem but the guys and gals at La Costena need to know that this particular product is a 10 out of 10 and personally I am already purchasing it again for the second time and will recommend it for years to come! I bought these because a recipe I was trying called for them. The first time I only used about half the can and I didn't find them spice hot at all. The next time I used the whole can and I had tears running down my face. Next time I'll try 3/4. If you're really into spicy food I think you'll be happy with them.

Many recipes call for one pepper of one teaspoon. So I freeze what I don't use. Label it. I keep these small freezer things in a small box in my freezer so I can find them when I need them. I also freeze tomato paste. And you can freeze your lemons whole. Yes and use them when you need them. The more you know

When I use this, it is to make a quick meal of Birria taco, ramen, soups. The heat is a tad bit high, but I believe it could be due to the seeds, so I will try removing them. I like to add some tomato chicken seasoning to it, which enhances the flavor with a slow cooking process that gives it a earthy taste after when letting it rest for about 30 mins in what ever dish you make.
