This is a very nice weather station. I like how easy it was to set up and how the display gives you all the information you need at a quick glance. If seeing all the weather information at a glance in real time is important to you then it is a good deal.

I have had 2 simple La Crosse weather stations for years now. They are simple with LCD display and no light but have worked reliably. I am happy to have this unit. I love the lighted, color display. I like, too, that it includes outdoor humidity, which my current units do not. This unit plugs in but can also run on 2 AA batteries. The outside sensor unit takes 2 AA batteries, as well. Batteries are not included. It can store measurements and makes weather preditions accordingly. I am very happy with my new La Crosse weather station!

I would really like to give this Outside / Inside weather forecast, temperature reporting little thing 4 and a half stars. Right now I have the outside unit roughly 25ft, the same distance as my tried and true weather channel temp sensor, I went for a newer, flashier model. The inside unit actually plugs into the wall, and has 2 AA batteries for backup, I did not expect that, and I think that is great.. not like these things are really battery eating monsters, but one less thing to think about is nice. It is within half a degree and showing within 1% humidity level of my current device. So, who knows which one is off, chances are both. 76, 77, who cares right? The half a star deduction is the screen, it does look like it does in their listing, so they're not hiding anything, but I assume this is meant to sit at a desk meaning your eyes are physically higher, and the angle it sits at if your eyes are physically above it looks very nice and bright.. the red color for inside is an odd choice to me, but it helps differentiate at a glance I suppose. If you do like I do, and have this sitting on a shelf, this angle and display are a little bit of a problem, because it washes out, and the inside temp is actually pretty difficult to read if you're more than a foot or two away, in a fairly dark room.. if you have lights on, the glare off walls and the lights will pretty much wash it out. Not a huge issue, I trust my thermostat on the AC, but some people may want to know that. Even when washed out, from 10ft away, and eyes lower than the screen, I can read everything clearly enough, even the room temp, but that one does take a second of staring to kind of let it "come to me". The mounting of the outdoor unit is pretty genius. There is a hole through it, nail or screw.. easy. OR, there is a "key" (rounded cutout) on the back that you can hang it on, more like you would do a picture. Simple, but a nice touch. The battery door (another 2 AA batteries) slides down from the front, so once it's mounted you can just leave it in place. Again, simple, nice, forward thinking. It's appreciated! Overall it is well represented in the listing for sale, it has good range for it's outdoor unit, is accurate, and I would recommend it.

This is a great standalone weather monitor and display. Display is bright and easy to read. Can run off of 2 AA batteries or the included wall plug. Set-up and connection is easy. Alerts are simple to program.

This unit is replacing my old unit. It has an external power supply in addition to battery backup. The outside unit takes 2 AA batteries, and the documentation says that they will last 24 months,!

Love this! I have wanted one forever and this one is perfect. The display size is generous but not too large and it is very attractive. It was super easy to set up and seems to work accurately. Highly recommend

This is my second La Crosse weather station. I had very good service from the first one. This unit only measures indoor and outdoor temp and relative humidity. It then forecasts upcoming weather with little icons. I remain skeptical of the accuracy of a forecast that doesn't also measure barometric pressure. It does a very accurate job on temp and humidity.

Easy to set up. We have old LaCrosse weather station clock that lasted 20 years which immediately started working better with connecting this new sensor. The problem started- where to set outdoor sensor becauseit was not really described how to do it in description. Right now it is hanging from a window....

The unit is small and the display isn't that bright. This would only be good if you're planning on having it right next to you, otherwise you won't be able to read the display.
