La Crosse Technology Color Weather Station with Temperature Alerts, 1 each, 308-1425B

I really appreciate this device. I check it several times a day, keeping track of the weather. I particularly appreciate the pressure bars that show the barometric pressure in the area. I am prone to chronic migraine and they can be triggered by pressure in the atmosphere. I like just about everything about this little beauty!

I bought this product so I could track the inside and outside humidity as I hang my laundry outside. I also walk every morning before breakfast and it is good to check the outside temperature before I get dressed in the morning. I have this hanging in my bedroom and like that I can have it on bright during the day and dim it at night for sleep.

GREAT! I got 2: one for upstairs for early morning clothing choices and the second for my "daytime space" to monitor outdoor conditions for activities and work.

Set up was a breeze, easy to use. Sections are big enough to see at a quick glance the info I need. Would be 3 day forcast instead of ongoing pressure readings. Still very happy with it.

The forecast station is bigger than I imagined while viewing in the catalog, but I love it. Easy to read and love the brightness of the colors. Has been very accurate and seems to work very well.

This is by far the best home weather station you could buy.

The color monitor is much more visible BUT I didn't realize that it required a corded power source in order to have it be continuously lit. The 10 second illumination is not sufficient and It is inconvenient to have to push the button every time to illuminate the screen.

Product is fine. Only issue is your description claimed it could be used with the battery instead of AC adapter. That is incorrect. The unit shuts down and only uses the battery as a way to save data. Your rep was asked for a unit that only used battery and she said this one was fine. It is not. Obviously, she was given false information. We kept the unit because of the extra features over our old Crosse unit like weather prediction and barometer. Please correct your cataloge and online information. Wife didn't want wires hanging down in her kitchen.

I really like this weather station especially the moon cycle. My husband wishes it had the barometric pressure on it.
