Works really well. The outside temp. display is the most prominent and located at the top. Easy to read!

It is simple and minimalist. All I wanted was indoor and outdoor temperatures. Also includes humidity.

Simple is Better
I bought this unit to replace one I'd had for 10-15yrs. I like them because they're simple and last a long time. This new model seems to be of the same quality.

Temperature readings not stable
Purchased LA Crosse expecting more quality Dislike Outdoor sensor and indoor sensor/display temperature readings very in accuracy even when both sensors are sitting side by side 2 inches apart. Temps reading very from 1.0 degree to 0.1 degrees. Right now as I type it has varied 0.6 to 0.7 and later, not the accuracy I expected from La Crosse. Instructions say it clears its high/low reading every 24 hours. Like as published 2 year battery life if it happens

After assembling the two pieces and pairing them inside the device appeared to work, both read the same temperature. But when I took it outside the outside receiver continue to read the indoor temperature. I took both units outside and redid the set up, the same temperature. When I took the indoor device inside, it lost its pairing. I had to do it over again - it was 30 degrees so this time I paired them inside and again, they read the same temperature. I took the outdoor receiver outside, but it continued to read the indoor temperature. I exchanged it for a new one and had the exact same problem. What I don't understand is I have an indoor outdoor thermometer with a date and time from the same company which works fine at my cabin. Unfortunately, I did not get this returned within the window due to the chaos of moving. So overall, it was not only a waste of time, but it was a financial loss. Albeit a small one …still
