La Crosse Technology Wireless Wind & Weather Station with Breeze Solar Wind Sensor, S81120-INT

This item is precisely what I wanted to replace my aged one. Easy to install and set-up. Only disappointment is the display has to be viewed nearly straight on. Otherwise the display is washed-out & illegible.

I really like this weather station. I purchased it for the wind function. Works great and was very easy to install. I installed it above a fence post on a six foot privacy fence. It seems to be very accurate and was very easy to install and use. Although the temperature reads a little high on sunny day it seems pretty accurate the rest of the time. The display was very easy to synchronize with the outdoor sensor. I'm very pleased with this purchase and at a great price.

been wanting something like this for yrs but didnt want to pay $100. this was a great price. Have not been able to mount outside unit yet but can't wait to get it fully functional.

Outdoor unit is compact & easy to install. Bright, colorful display has to be plugged into AC power but has battery backup. Just wish there was a way to defeat the loud beep when pressing buttons.

First one I bought didn't function properly. Only half of the display worked and the wind display wasn't registering at all. Sam's exchanged us for a new one, which seems to work nicely. Bought the extended warranty, in case this one malfunctions, but so far so good!

I bought this for my husband as a gift. Initially he had a bit of trouble getting it started when he set it up but, after it was he loves it. He's thinking about buying the extra features for it.

I did not get the model that I ordered. I could not get La Crosse to answer my message or email. Walmart gave me my money back. Good product terrible company to work with. Thank you Walmart for making it right.

Worked great for about 2 weeks, then the internal battery on the weather station died...after 2 weeks. Yeah, petty I suppose, but still irritating.

Worked for about 3 days. The battery does not fully charge now and it will not communicate with the base station. I will return it as my kids purchased a warranty with it....I am hopeful that the replacement will work longer!

No instructions, but checked online... still vague... didn't work but a week, was going to return it but the next day it started working again, good for few weeks. Now the wind never changes from north even though the actual satellite looks like it is changing direction with the wind. Plus instructions say to not put the satellite in direct sunlight but at the highest point... doesn't make sense. I wanted it to know temps inside and out along with wind and humidity... not sure it is accurate but neither is the weather man.
