I couldn't believe my eyes the first time I mixed the blue and yellow into my new favorite Jones Road foundation, creating my PERFECT olive shade. The yellow is more opaque than the blue IMO so I mix the yellow in a little at a time. I am so thankful to have found this product- imagine the possiblilties, no foundation is off the table for us olive baddies now!
forst time trying this as an actual foundation for halloween costimes. i like it but i wish it was a bit more pigmented. Definitely needs a setting powder. not bad for drugstore makup. and can also be used to lighten up normal skintone foundations. very easy to mix with other colors.
So I am a fair person with a slightly olive tone but mainly my ski. Carries some redness as well. Most foundations unless they have an ultramarine pigment in them always oxidizes or stand to orange or yellow. I was recommended this product and I thought why not. I ordered the blue and white to help neutralize and lighten my foundations. I so far used the blue and it has really helped me with my foundation. I am able to wear it without fearing my skin is going to be the wrong shade and look completely different. Definitely Recommend this for pro artists and makeup enthusiasts. Also the size of the bottle really blew my mind I imagined a smaller bottle.
So many foundations have an orange tint, but this totally takes care of the problem.
These pigments have changed my foundation game. It's been challenging to find foundations that match my rosey, white skin tone. I also pull yellow in foundations. Adding these pigments in not only fixes ALL of that, it also allows me to make my foundation usable when I get spray tans! Officially obsessed.
Blue foundation makeup has the ability to neutralize and balance out undertones. The subtle blue pigments work wonders in counteracting redness as a color corrector and primer. It effectively cancels out any discoloration or imperfections, and orange undertone in foundation and concealer. It blends seamlessly into the skin, offering buildable coverage without your foundation looking orange. If your foundation or concealer has an orange hue, try LA Girl Blue Foundation.
Perfect mix in to change the color or tone of foundation. I've been using pigments for years but these are so affordable and great consistency. They barely change the formula at all. I'm super fair and colors that are light tend to lean pink, a little blue or their green color corrector in the foundation really helps me achieve a perfect match
pretty sheer, but good to use if you wanna look pale. would buy again :)
As my skin loses summer color this helps my makeup adjust as well
giving it a 4 because the pigments are actually amazing! i tested all sorts of combinations to switch up tones, lighter, darker, warmer, cooler, and olive—it was all successful. however, after using this with my usual foundation, i noticed my skin was beginning go break out... i might have to try it again because maybe my skin wasn't used to a new formula going on my face!
