I've used this brand of styling gel for years. The newer products with higher numbers, don't seem to have better holding power than those with lower numbers. Perhaps they have changed the formula. #9 is rarely stocked in stores anymore. It works best on my fine hair which blows in the wind if I don't use it. You rub it into your hair after you shampoo while your hair is still wet. When your hair dries, the hair stays where you combed it until you run a comb or brush through it to take the stiffness out. It will last for about 2 days. It is water soluble and non-greasy. And it is also inexpensive. One bottle will last me more than a month. The squeezable bottle allows you to use every bit of it. I store it upside down to make dispensing easier.

it does exacally what i want it to ,easy to put on and keeps hair in place and gives it a shine all so ....

Love this stuff but can no longer find it in stores. I sure hope it's not being discontinued. Defines my curls without adding weight.
