La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid SPF 50 for Face, 1.7 fl oz

Excellent sunscreen, very comfortable after application, moderately dry vs. moisturizing. It's "efficient" in that a small amount covers well and provides lasting protection. It has a slight tendency to appear white but rubs in easily. If that's an issue, I would recommend the tinted version which I have also tried and like very well. Male in my 50's in case that's useful info.

Just purchased, so cannot comment on how well it protects, but it does feel very soft on the skin. The smell however, it is grotesque. It literally smells like old vomit mixed with a slight chalky smell. I couldn't get over how badly it smells.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear the tinted version over this zinc/titanium one because this spf leaves a white cast. I am medium skinned and I don't like how this gives my face a white ghostly appearance. But the tinted one only has titanium in it, which doesn't cover as broad of a spectrum as this one. Wearing the tinted version over this spf reduces the white cast somewhat. But it is still very noticeable. However, this spf does not cause me to break out because I am acne prone. I continue to use this brand because of that factor only. I am still looking for another brand ( already tried mineral only spf from 30 brands) that can perform without the white cast and leave a matte finish like this one does.

Product is Expensive and a little watery/runny; it seems to be a good blocker but have not been in strong sun all day yet

The product’s packaging, not the shipping container, arrived in less-than-ideal condition, with visible damage and additional tape. I'm curious if this was to secure the product during shipping, but this wasn't the case in my previous four orders.

I got this with such high hopes, but the smell is absolutely awful. After the first time I immediately washed my face twice to get the smell off. The second time I tried to let it dry to see if it would go away, but it didn't so I had to wash my face that time too. It's truly horrible. I am so annoyed that I have to take this back to the store if I want to get my money back.

I really wanted to love this. it's lightweight and didn't leave a cast but the smell was so strong. it bothered my allergies and gave me a headache, I had to return. I think the odor was coming from some herb that was in it.

I urgently needed this sunscreen and trusted Walmart for my first online order. Sadly, due to an employee's negligence, my item got lost. This experience was disappointing — I didn't just need a refund, I needed the product. Walmart's apology doesn't fix that.

I am very disappointed with this purchase and i regretted spending so much on sunscreen and i couldn't even use. I have go back to my older one. It leaves a bad white cast on my face. The white cast is so obvious that even after taking my time to rub it in on my face, my face was so white for so many hours.
