These are light, crispy, and taste so authentic. Usually, storebought taco shells have a little bit of a stale taste to them (to me) and need to be 'perked up' in a hot oven. But not these. They're perfect straight out of the box. They ARE delicate, yes, but that's also part of the appeal. They are crisp and easy to bite into without dragging half the shell off in a bite, with a delightful crunch. I never want to buy another brand again.
Wow. These really hold together! Never shattered while eating. A few were broken in half when we got them, but we just used those as tostadas - no problem! They are very oily, which probably accounts for their strong constitution. Packaged sort of oddly - just in wax paper bags, not sealed, so maybe can't hang around long before use.
At first glance these I was skeptical about how these shells would hold together as they are very thin. After adding taco meat these hold together very well and you taste the taco ingredients more than the shell. Also, thinner shell have less carbs! I will not buy the name brand shells again.
If you have never tried La Tiara taco shells, you should. They are light, savory, and a game changer for off the shelf crisp taco shells.
These are thin crisp taco shells. We have made them the taco shells we always use now. They are not shrink wrapped in plastic. They are in a parchment type of bag you can close.
Bought these thinking they were going to be tough and hard and I would regret buying them. these are hands down the best taco shells I have ever bought. They are thin, light and tender. they will be our go to for taco shells.
Crunchy and thin. Breaks easily but good
These shell's tastes great, light and crunchy. This is my first choice of taco shells. Top of my list
I do wish that I didn't have to be so gentle with it, to keep it from breaking, but they are not any more fragile than Taco Bell's. The flavor is excellent. I hope the stores in Bay and Gulf County will carry and sell them at a reasonable price. 5 stars for flavor.
had these at a friends house and thought they were very good. found them at Wal-Mart and added them to my online order, for some reason Walmart had the shipped to me by Fedex. they came in a box 3 times bigger the the box of shells wrapped in brown paper. everything looked fine. tonight i decided to make tacos. i opened the box of shells, and inside were 4 packages of taco shells, the packages were made like cereal packages. with 9 taco shells in each bag. I pulled a bag out and placed it on the counter then i decided to use 2 bags so i would have enough for leftover tacos the next day. i pulled the other package out and taco shells peices went everywhere. The bag was open and all the shells were crushed. I checked the other bag and it was the same way. we had taco salad for dinner, the shells seamed a little stale also. These shells are so fragile it would be hard not to get many broke ones. The bags being open did bother me too on a Health Risk.
