Like the texture and color. It's sturdy. I don't know if it's different from others internally but it seems like it will last.

Ordered this hard drive because it has been rated to have a superior build quality and life expectancy. At first i was blown away by all the specs, waterproof, drop proof etc. I am a marketing specialist so these specs blew me away as I have had drives fail in the past and wanted to avoid having to pay to recover data and the stress that comes with it. When I received the drive everything seemed to be in tact. Would recommend to a family member or colleague

In the world of the cloud I still find it useful to back up locally and this is always my preferred brand. I have had a few LaCie branded hard drives over the year and they have never failed me. They give that extra piece of mind when traveling that they will stand up to a dropped bag etc.

I love it!!!! I received it and plugged it into my pc, it fired up, got itself installed and I was blown away at the reaction times of the drive itself. I had another hard drive that even though it had hardly anything on it still took forever. The size of it is perfect. Drop it in your backpack, briefcase, purse or pocket and you are all set. With two ways to connect (usb or type c) I have my info within reach all the time. Its durable rubber exterior makes this beast of a hard drive a force to be reckoned with. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs or wants to have all their info handy at all times. I love this product and I am hooked! I love the fact that this is compact and secure, as well as rugged and fast. I used to use multiple zip drives in my line of work, and I would lose them constantly, or they would get dust in them and become un-usable. This LaCie Rugged Mini 2 TB hard drive has replaced all of my ancillary storage devices, and done it in a way that I don't worry about throwing it in my briefcase to be banged around during travel. Lightweight, fast for saving, and super convenient USB connector.

One of the best things. I love having a good back up. Very durable like I feel like it could get run of and it still not hurt it. I love having the extra space. I highly recommend. One of my friends has already ordered this. They were surprised how what it was and how good it was.

I got this LaCie 4TB All-Terrain Mobile Hard Drive to keep all of my photos on, as well as to back up my computer. And let me tell you it is MORE than enough!! I can take so many more photos now, and videos too. without having to worry about running out of space! The silicone case that comes on the hard drive is thick and seems very sturdy too! I don't think you'll be disappointed if you get one of these for your storage solutions!

Using the device for the first time needed some assistance from apple for the imac, but once done, very simple to use. It is fast as well, saving between 11 and 25 mbs per second depending on pics or vids.

Works real well. I bought 2 of these and the first was a problem setting up. The second one had software that made it trivial.
