Like the texture and color. It's sturdy. I don't know if it's different from others internally but it seems like it will last.

LaCie Rugged Mini 2TB all terrain mobile hard drive is awesome. It has 2TB storage ( 130 MB's ). Comes with USB-C cable and USB 3.0 cable. Shock resistant, pressure resistant, rain resistant, protective aluminum shell and comes with a shock resistant rubber sleeve. Very easy to install and so easy to use. So much space for my pictures and other important files. This external hard drive is perfect. I'd definitely recommend the LaCie Rugged Mini 2TB all terrain mobile hard drive.

In the world of the cloud I still find it useful to back up locally and this is always my preferred brand. I have had a few LaCie branded hard drives over the year and they have never failed me. They give that extra piece of mind when traveling that they will stand up to a dropped bag etc.

This little drive can hold a lot of data! The thing that surprised me the most was how fast transferring to this drive was, I copied almost my entire hard-drive in seconds. This comes with an orange rubber bumper around it to increase its durability. The bumper is removal but securely on so you don't need to worry about it accidentally coming off. I've been using this as a backup drive and it's been working great for that. I like the smaller size, it fits nicely in my fireproof safe. I'm very pleased with this little drive and would recommend it to friends.

I bought this hard-drive a few weeks ago, because I need a reliable hard-drive to save my pictures and videos during travel. So far, I am really happy with HDD. It has good transfer rates and it doesn't take forever to copy all my things. I also like that it is made for a bit rougher environments and won't break a hit. I will keep you posted if this might change in the future.

I love it!!!! I received it and plugged it into my pc, it fired up, got itself installed and I was blown away at the reaction times of the drive itself. I had another hard drive that even though it had hardly anything on it still took forever. The size of it is perfect. Drop it in your backpack, briefcase, purse or pocket and you are all set. With two ways to connect (usb or type c) I have my info within reach all the time. Its durable rubber exterior makes this beast of a hard drive a force to be reckoned with. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs or wants to have all their info handy at all times. I love this product and I am hooked! We're using this as an additional hard drive for the Xbox. I love the soft padding around the case, the fast transfer speed, and the large capacity. I have not encountered any issues with this hard drive and would recommend to anyone in need of a supplemental external drive.

Using the device for the first time needed some assistance from apple for the imac, but once done, very simple to use. It is fast as well, saving between 11 and 25 mbs per second depending on pics or vids.

Works real well. I bought 2 of these and the first was a problem setting up. The second one had software that made it trivial.
