great movie, movie came to me in good delivery, on time order, tape was good, was able to enjoy the movie all the way through without any danger to the tape.

Lackawanna Blues boasts an excellent ensemble cast, accurately depicting a 1960s progressive struggle in upstate New York, in this non-fictional work of art. The musical score and interwoven vocal performances enhance the mood and setting of this very fine production..

I liked everything about this company they sent out a quality dvd, the packaging along told the story of this vendor business. Nothing short of a 5 star quality. I also called this company and they called me back within a hour if that long. Do not hesitate to do business with this vendor he is the absolute best. I thought I was ordering a 2nd copy of the same movie through Walmart and, I thought I was getting it from the same vendor and that was definitely not the case. The 2nd movie I received was of not the same quality it appeared as if was done in someone's garage. I do not write reviews often but this was one needed to be shared.

great historical information
This is my second copy of this movie. The first one got ruined, so I ordered another copy. This is a excellent portryal of the Black Community sharing in each others lives, even when life was difficult and unsuitable in the 1940's, 50's & 60's. The main character "Nanny" was a very giving and loving soul. This movie is very thought provoking.

WONDERFUL!
I absolutely LOVE this movie, the cast and storyline are superb. Definitely deserved the Emmy it received. I'm so happy I found it on walmart.com because this dvd (new or used) "retails" at over $20 on ebay!
