okay so let's start this out I love milk, but milk doesn't love me. as a younger guy I used to be able to drink regular milk and could deal with the ramifications of being slightly lactose intolerant. but now that I moved on to later stages of my life milk has become my Nemesis but I still love it. so I would suggested to try lactose free milk and I find that lactaid really really tastes great. that's absolutely no difference in the regular milk and lactaid milk except they say they take the lactose out of it to make it more tolerable for people like me. the taste is smooth rich and indulgent and therefore I don't miss drinking regular whole milk. the reason I drink this brand is because they also have a 2% low fat version because I'm watching calories and it's still just as delicious. lactate is great the only thing is it's just a little pricey and our economy but I'm not willing to give up milk so I'm willing to pay for lactaid. I think you'll like it go out and get you some.
GREAT product. I order this every week, I buy 6-1/2 gals due to the weight of the gal I can't lift. I do have a problem with the shoppers keep giving me 2- 1/2 gals when I order 6, they don't even give me my substitutes I list, they want to give me gal jugs or whole milk?????
Lactaid milk brand is true 100% lactose free. I know because I am lactose intolerant. I tried other store brands at Walmart or the local grocery stores generic brand claiming it is lactose free is not 100% accurately true in my opinion. I still experienced stomach issues with these other store generic brands. The Lactaid brand name is true 100% lactose free in my opinion. I experienced no stomach issues drinking this milk.
I used to use regular milk until I couldn't get anything but lactaid one day...and I found it helped my digestion so much that I haven't gone back. I have tried another brand, but it was very difficult to open because the lid was a different size. So I try to use this brand of Lactaid milk.
I tried this product over a year ago. I enjoy cereal with milk 2 to 3 times a week and milk as a source of calcium is important at my age. I found that with traditional milk even organic, my digestion didn't feel right. With Lactaid I can drink as much as I want per day with no negative side effects.
Awesome product for those who are lactose intolerant. I use it for everything…drinking, cereal, cooking and baking. It’s real milk with the lactose enzymes removed. Best part about it? It has a longer expiration date than milk containing lactose. Highly recommend.
Tried it out for the kids because thought they were lactose and it doesn't really taste that different then regular milk. I used it in cooking as well.
This is the first milk that doesn’t cause bloating or gas. I am so happy that we have this. I also love fair life milk, however the price of it is so high that I remember that lactaid was my first choice. I get more milk than I do with fair life. I won’t leave again.
Even though I am the only person in my home with lactose intolerance, everyone is accustomed to using lactose free milk at this point. It lasts longer and it is a good portion size for my household. Lactaid is right in the middle for me when it comes to lactose free milk options. I like it better than Great Value in both flavor and texture, but it still isn't as good as Fair Life. I use it for things like smoothies or in cooking casseroles or mashed potatoes. The price is also in the middle between these other two brand choices. Because it has a longer expiration date, it is easy to keep on hand for recipes, especially around any of the holidays. Overall, I am a fan of all of the Lactaid brand products and am always assured of the overall high quality.
Every time I’ve gotten my milk within 2 days it’s been sour! Even though the date is much longer with this milk this is the 3 rd time it has happened! When I purchase in the store myself it’s fine. The only way this can be happened is if the person getting the order is allowing it to get warm!! I’m not going to continue to pay and throw away!!!
