My favorite movie of 2017
My favorite movie of 2017, I was absolutely floored by how much I loved this film. This is not "just a coming-of-age" film... ultimately it's a love story between a young woman and her mother (and home), although this can easily not be seen or understood with the sometimes cruel words and interactions between the two. The acting is phenomenal all-around, as is the directing and writing by Greta Gerwig. Even my 19-year-old daughter was crying, and she makes fun of me for crying at movies.
