Lakanto Classic Monk Fruit Sweetener with Allulose - White Sugar Substitute, Erythritol Free, Gluten Free, Vegan, Keto Friendly, Sugar Replacement (Classic White - 1 lb - Pack of 1)

I have tried most of the sugar substitutes and it is so hard to find one that does not have Erythritol or a bitter aftertaste like Stevia. I was ready to give up and go back to my aspartame even though there can be risks at least it tastes right. In a last ditch effort I gave this more expensive one a try, and I do believe I could get used to it. It is not sweeter than sugar so you would do an exact measure-for-measure replacement. Yes I can taste the difference between this and sugar but it is not an overpowering bad aftertaste like with stevia. 2 spoonfuls in my coffee is the perfect amount.

Monk fruit with allulose sweetener does NOT have the same aftertaste, and the sweetness is not as strong as other natural sweeteners like Stevia. It doesn't taste as if it is trying to be a sweetener. I use this for my coffee or tea. I also used it to make chocolate syrup, and it can be used in baking. I wish there were more readily available products that have Monk fruit with allulose instead of having the stevia included. We dont need multiple sweeteners in one product. I am glad i was able to get it in a bigger bag. it was a little les expensive.

I did a deep dive on all of these sweeteners and found that some of them are showing ill effects to one's health now. They've been around for long enough for the data to come in. I trust this sweetener because it is 100% natural not chemically derived. But more than that, it's delicious and taste is close to real sugar as I think anyone can get. The allulose is also harmless. I have diabetes and this never spikes my glucose. It's delicious and it has that grainy of natural sugar. You just need a little more of it than you would normally use so I wouldn't say it's a one-to-one ratio. But it's good stuff.

Nearly as sweet as ‘real' sugar, you can be please with the taste and no nasty aftertaste. With zero calories and all natural, I have been using this to replace sugar in most of my recipes. Looking forward to trying many more recipes replacing sugar with this Monk Fruit/Allulose combination for healthier meals and desserts!

I've tried various plant based natural sugar substitutes (stevia extract, allulose) before I settled on monkfruit. It is the closest resemblance to sugar cane when it comes to taste and texture. Pricey, but worth it. No calories, no tooth decay, no sugar highs

this is a great sugar substitute..it looks like sugar taste like sugar..I have used this for a very long time..it's a great product for people like me that has heart disease..some of these substitute are worse than sugar..it does well with baking..a little on the pricey side..but well worth it.

This Monk Fruit sweetener is NOT an artificial sweetener, but plant based. It is the closest sugar-like sweetener I have found. The granules resemble and taste like sugar cane, except they are much sweeter than regular sugar (and calorie-free). Unlike the Stevia Extract (also a plant based sweetener), which is only available in powdered form and difficult to use in coffee/tea, the Monk Fruit sweetener is more compatible with real sugar and has no after taste.

I can't tell you how happy I was to find a monkfruit/allulose blend that DIDN'T contain erythritol. I was a little disappointed when I received it and saw how small it was, but it is what it is. In small amounts, this tastes great. However, when I made something that needed more sweetener, I noticed a bitter taste. I'll probably still use it, and maybe combine it with stevia or Splenda to mask the bitterness, but I wish I didn't have to. Oh, well.

I've recently ordered monk fruit sweetener from Saraya USA (Lakanto) through the Walmart website. The INCOMPETENT driver delivered my item to the wrong address. I had to go searching for the apartment that my item was incorrectly delivered to. Luckily, I was able to locate the package or else I would have had to ask for a full refund. My package could have been stolen! This is unacceptable as a paying customer. As a public service, I am warning other potential buyers regarding what happened to me so they will know exactly what could happen to them too. I hope my review helps and, also, spares others the hassle.

Tastes great, and low/no calories, but I don't trust that this product does not contain harmful chemicals. After a barbecue, I left this product outside with the bag open overnight and in the morning, there were MANY tiny dead insects inside the bag -I don't know if the died from consuming the product or from inhaling the air around it, but that many dead bugs is a red flag for me. I understand that just because it kills insects doesn't mean it is harmful to humans, but I personally don't want to put any kind of insecticide in my body -especially when I'm trying to actually get healthier by cutting out sugar. Just my two cents.
