Lambeth Classic Barrel Cake

Cake was moist and delicious. The decorating was well done --very close to the image , though not quite a precise. (8/10). The cake I ordered was: one layer choc, one van and strawberry filling--- excellent; though I would have preferred a bit more filling than provided. The buttercream is tasty but very sweet.

This cake came out absolutely gorgeous! It was so beautifully decorated that I almost didn't want to cut or eat it! It tastes very good, too.

cake was decorated beautifully but structurally unsound. it started leaning heavily after being out for 2 hours. eventually the top 2 layers slid off. might have been because of the whipped icing. I'd recommend buttercream to see if it holds up better. the worker at the bakery was very nice when I picked the cake up

The cake tasted delicious. I asked for chocolate and vanilla, yet only received a vanailla cake. There were no flowers on the top, it was bare. Did not look like the photo. Picked up within a day of order pickup time and the caterer/attendee made a rude remark of ‘this was supposed to be picked up at 7pm last night, not today'.

I ordered this cake for my daughter's birthday and it was not a barrel cake. This cake was a regular 2 layer cake and the message of Happy 23rd birthday read Happy 23th birthday. I contacted the store but they did not give me a refund so I canceled my membership due to several occasions where my order was not correct on so many occasions. This ruined my daughter's day because I couldn't order another cake. I ordered earlier and they said It would be ready on her birthday but it was horrible.

The cake style was not a barrel cake. In my previous cake orders the design came back flawless. Recently (last two cake orders) were horrible. The design was not up to the level of previous and looked like a cheap attempt at the photo design. I'm not sure if they got a new cake decorator at my location but it has not been good. Not sure what is up but it has changed within the last 2-3 months.

It was lopsided and falling apart. We also didn't want the roses on top and wanted the writing on top. Also, the writing was in capital letters and we wanted lower case. Overall, a terrible experience and won't be going back.
