Pretty much plug and play. Just connected it to the port in the car and bluetooth in the phone and it just works. My wife can also use it because because it supports samsung and iphone.

Plugged it in once and now CarPlay connects automatically without cables every time I start the car. Streaming apps run smoothly, and the setup was truly plug and play makes my factory system feel modern again.
