Fit perfect!
I bought these for my 5th grade daughter. She wears between a 14-16 in girls, she is tall. I got these to wear under basketball shorts during winter sports.

Sizing is off - runs big
My son is 8 years old and very tall and fits into boys 14/16 clothes so I ordered a size 14 in these. They are way too big on him. Size 12 would probably be okay or maybe even a 10 if you wanted them tight as compression. Quality looked okay but we had to return them because they were too long and too big.
