Love to eat these crackers for snacks they're light crispy a little taste of salt and very delicious

This comes from a "Repacker" that does a good job. Box has "Last Sale Date" on outside of box. Minimal cracker breakage. The better cracker when compared to the others (Nabisco, Keebler, private label) but still not the quality we had before all the manufacturers reformulated a few years back using a chemical (Lab generated) process for fermentation. This has resulted in a lower quality, less substantial cracker which turns to mush as soon as it hits the soup or any moist product. lance's cracker does hold up a few seconds better than the others but is still thinner than the crackers of the past apparently from less rising due to this fermentation process. Of course the reason for the lowering of the qualty is the elimination of the "large vat sponge fermentation" process, which saves labor and production cost. Be interesting to know exactly what chemicals they have added to their crackers that are now going into our bodies. This and the WalMart private label cracker are the only crackers on the market that are even edible anymore and Lance is now my 'go to' cracker. I quit eating the others a few years ago (give them a one star rating). The same is true of all the old cracker company crackers like Ritz, Town House, etc. which have changed since Mondolez (Mexican company) moved Nabisco manufacturing to Mexco and Kellog took over Keebler/Sunshine.

I was surprised to see single packets of crackers arrive in a cardboard box without any other packaging. I do not see any expiration or use by date.
