I wished Wal Mart sold the larger size, or brought back the big challenger butter spreadable. I think the Challenger is better butter, but the land o lakes is a good butter, also if they had this size with olive oil instead of the canola, it would be a better choice
I started shopping here with Walmart and really thought that making orders and having things be purchased would get to be confusing. Shopping this way has turned out to help me to be more organized and the real help from Walmart keeping me up to date on items that I need to purchase is a bigger help than I would have ever thought! This is working out well; I did have to be patient and "keep the faith!"
Easy to spread. My 83 year husband has trouble with his hands/fingers, so it's easy for him to use. It taste great, we would not use anything else. Also, little things like spreading butter on his own makes him feel a little less helpless/dependent.
Land O' Lakes spreadable butter, made with canola oil, is very good. It tastes good and is easy to spread. I use it on everything, from toast, to sandwiches to melting on my vegetables. I will say that I like the same butter made with olive oil, a bit better.
Of all the spreadable butters, this is our favorite. In fact, it is the only one we will purchase. So many others have extra water in their butters. It has a nice butter taste (it should.. it is butter) and spreads and melts well. If you are putting it on something room temp, I suggest you either let the tub sit out of the fridge for a little bit or take a bit out of the tub and let that sit out to be softer. I only use it on breads and sometimes vegetables, and it works great for both. I also like how well the lid fits. it isn't hard to take off, but it also doesn't fall off when I accidentally drop the tub from the fridge.
Best butter/margarine we've ever had. Been using Land O'Lakes for years. The flavor of the butter canola spread is even better than their pure butter sticks. We keep a few tubs in the fridge so we never run out.
Land O Lakes always a good to brand. This is one of mine and my family's favorite butter products. So creamy and smooth! Wal Mart has the best prices for Land O Lake products as well!
I've been using this LandOLake butter for a long time I don't buy any other butter except when I'm making no bake cookies they have to have just butter. It taste the same as butter to me much easier to use because in stays softer. it's worth a try.
I like this because it is butter, not margarine. it is somewhat soft and spreads easily on crackers and bread. it melts very nice when added to hot vegetables. A very rich and smoothe butter cold or melted.
Just not sure yet. I put very small amount in pan prior to scrambling eggs, suddenly there are tiny oil droplets sitting all over top of eggs before they really start to cook. I love eggs and this has occurred every time I cook them. Tub indicated that oil is not the primary ingredient so why is it appearing???
