Land O Lakes Heavy Whipping Cream, 1 Pint

I get this only rarely to use when a recipe calls for it. Never had an issue with it. Quality is always good. Never use the whole thing, and it always goes bad before I can figure out how to use the rest of the container though. But that's more on me than on the product itself! I should just feed it to the cat I guess.

The product is thick and creamy, adding that little extra to sauces and soups! I will definitely be buying this again. It made a great addition to my homemade Mac and cheese.

Does not have any smell. Prices a little bit high over the years went up. It comes in a carton. Box with easy lid. You can use it for many things. I also make homemade yogurt and I add heavy whipping cream to make it extra buttery taste.

I usually do a 3:2:1 ratio of heavy whipping cream, milk, and sweetener for my cold foam and they turn out perfectly. I also used this in a mac & cheese recipe that turned out delicious. I would repurchase this over and over again.

I love the brand Land O Lakes and I always enjoy eating and using their food products. I used the whipping cream to make a chocolate ganache topping for my brownies. The whipping cream was very creamy and added extra flavor to my brownie topping. It helped the chocolate chips melt and into a smoother and creamier consistency. I would definitely purchase again!

I loved that this heavy cream was so easy to pour, and it was stable even in my simmering vodka sauce. It made a lovely recipe, but I didn't love that there were so many extra ingredients in the product. Overall, it was a good value for the money and I look forward to my next creamy creation!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Taking a commercial break to make my dreamy mushrooms… they are sautéed in olive oil, a pat of butter, wine and herbs, then finished with cream — in this case, Land O'Lakes cream since I partnered with them to try it. It was disappointing to find theirs wasn't all-natural. After-all, it's cream so it should only contain one ingredient: cream — without added thickeners and stabilizers that are difficult to pronounce. So while cream can be a secret ingredient, its ingredients should always be simple.

I would give zero stars if I could to Wal Mart for the almost year old carton of this they sold me. Received a grocery pickup today, July 9, 2023. The carton of heavy cream expired on 1/8/2023. Why in the world is this carton of heavy cream still in stock at your location?

I didn't use right away or check the date, but when I opened it smelled sour, so I checked date and it was dated Aug. 27,2022. This Walmart is getting careless leaving outdated items on self. I am disabled and depend on them to pick fresh items. I will try different store, hopefully will get better there.
