I put this as a finishing smoothness touch on all items that I am baking. very easy to use after opening and grabbing out the fridge. It has a sweet taste, but it’s not overbearing. he has great quality and great taste.
Anyone who uses real butter knows why because it has a rich taste. Add honey to it, and it becomes the food of the gods... downright heavenly. Regular toast becomes a treat,as does anything else when you use this butter with it. Whats great about real butter is that a person doesn't have to use much to really taste the richness...sooo good. I used it on a dull soda cracker and it became a treat, too. Life is too short. We need to enjoy what tastes good...of course in moderation. Try it yourself and you'll never buy margarine again.
This Land O Lakes Honey Butter Spread is a recurring staple in my home. What's not to like about an easy to spread butter that has the sweet taste of honey in it. I put it on my toast, english muffins and man is it good on a flaky homemade biscuit with a cup of tea or coffee! I'm always buying this, so maybe ignore how good I say it is so they don't run out! lol
I’ll be honest, this is a wee bit pricey for the size of the tub. You don’t get a ton, so that’s something to keep in mind going in. That said… the taste makes it mostly forgivable. It has a deep, rich honey flavor that actually tastes like real honey, not just a hint of sweetness. The texture is also spot on, remarkably close to real butter, smooth and easy to spread right out of the fridge. Now, full honesty, the only thing I’ve had that beats this is my own homemade churned butter mixed with my own honey. But short of doing that yourself, this is about as close as it gets. Perfect on biscuits, toast, or anything that needs a little extra something. Bottom line: small tub, big flavor. I’ll keep buying it.
I used to make my own honey butter mix and it tasted just like this Land O Lakes Honey Butter Spread. It melts just like it’s butter It tastes so yummy, you can taste it to make your own decision about it. For as much effort it’s to make on my own, I’m going with this brand made honey butter.
Walmart was out of my usual more expensive brand. Saw this has honey, who doesn't like butter with honey? Decided to try it and haven't gone back since. It's so much cheaper than my regular brand. And can't beat the taste on toast or biscuits. The taste of honey is perfect.
This is the only butter I use and I put it on everything. I love the hint of sweetness because personally I think it makes all I eat taste better. I highly recommend!!
First time purchase and regret not buying this sooner. Excellent on toast and brings it to the next level of taste. If you really want to go to the moon, order Market District Banana Bread and put this Honey Butter on it. Wow! To the moon and back!
I feel like I received 1/2 a container of Land O Lakes honey butter spread?! Not an issue with Walmart I routinely purchase this product w/o issues, I will be contacting/sending manufacturer pics.
The flavor, to me, tasted like margarine with chemicals and honey. Just barely a taste of honey with a chemical taste. From now on, I'll stick with Land O Lakes butter with olive oil and sea salt, buy some condiment cups and mix real honey in. Made a piece of toast, used the honey butter, took one bite and threw away the toast AND the butter.
