It's a land o lakes product that is all I needed to see on package. I just wanted spreadable real butter I normally buy great value or challenge real butter. But I saw a commercial with egglands best scrambled egg sandwiche and that is all I have been thinking about It's great butter
Newest research says that margarine isn't truly good for us and should switch back to using real butter. I found most real butter to be too hard to use on a whim. Once whipped, it becomes much easier to spread as if margarine. This tastes far better than any margarine too. Land O Lakes is a top quality brand that you can't go wrong with. I often leave this out with the lid on top. It's so easy to open. Very smooth if warmer than being refrigerated. You won't regret the change.
i love real salted butter and cant stand the taste or texture of fake or "healthy" alternatives. land o lakes is the rolls royce of butter, but the sticks are hard to spread, so i was super excited to try this whipped version and it exceeded all my expectations. it's soft, easily spreadable and the taste and texture dont seem lacking at all. its just like the little restaurant butter patty packages of land o lake but now available at the grocery store to take home and enjoy. i know the package advertises less fat calories etc whatever i dont even pay attention to that; it's irrelevant to me. but if that is what you are after and are sick of compromising taste for health, you will enjoy this whipped butter just as much as i do, maybe even more. i still use the land o lakes sticks for cooking.
Best creamy butter on the market. Nothing else can compare…. I highly recommend it. It may be a few pennies more than some of the others but I assure you that it is well worth it. If you haven't tried it then you need to. You will be so glad that you did. Enjoy! 😊
any one who loves eating butter, this is a good way. I have found that it may not have to be refrigerated as much if left in a cold room. this works for about a week. easy to spread and you can find many different things(edibles), that need butter. enjoy!!
I'd recommend trying this butter but I had to leave it out on the counter until I could spread it on toast. I scraped some out and put in on corn and heated it again in the microwave. It's good but I thought it would be softer than sticks of butter. The use by date gives me 3 months but I'm hoping it will last me 6 months. I like it better on toast and English muffins. I like the sticks of real butter with all the fat and salt on my vegetables. 😏 I've been told I'm a picky eater 😆
"Spreadable" is the wrong word to describe the texture. You might be able to spread it on something seriously solid (like ceramic tile), but it is certainly not spreadable on your average bread or biscuit. It will melt or soften, but what's the point of that? If you're looking for a truly smooth product, look elsewhere.
I bought this butter thinking whipped means better to spread. However when I opened the butter straight from the store delivery, it was crumbly and hard falling off my butter spreader. My husband loves butter on anything toasted but this butter just makes it harder for me to spread. I'm going back to stick butter, the LOL.com says to leave it out of fridge 20-25 mins to soften, I can do that with regular stick butter so why buy this butter at twice the price.
This butter is supposed to be whipped but it is impossible to get it out of the container using a butter knife. It is so hard and you try to use a knife to get it out and it is hard as a rock you almost have to chisel it out. What you might get out is so little at a time and it won't stick on the knife. Spreading it on anything is impossible. I won't be buying it again ever.
What happened to this whipped butter? Its NOT MELTING completely on toast and while it used to taste good, but now it tastes like nothing. More franken food? It reminds me of the Walmart brand that tastes as if a wax and Crisco were added. The other two real whipped butter brands I used to buy are no longer available through online grocery, But ARE available in the store, which feels very intentional. Like the dented cans passed onto deliveries.
