Land O Lakes White American Cheese, Sliced (Fresh, Plastic Bag)

The only American cheese my family will eat. We're not typically picky, either, but LOL actually tastes like cheese, unlike other deli brands, which are basically slimy, processed American cheese product. My daughter rejected other brands by the time she was 3.

I used to eat this cheese sliced from the deli country and it tasted like a butter cheese. It STILL has that taste and the buttery texture and flavor. My mother used to use that cheese to make homemade Mac %26 cheese. Hint : while baking in the oven she'd add a few strips of bacon on the top.

The Land O Lakes white American cheese does it have food coloring that you don't need it has an excellent melt, which is what you want it for and it's made from dairy instead of oil. I will always buy the deli American instead of the refrigerated case.

It's enormously better than the neon orange Kraft singles we grew up with. To start with, it's in the description. Cheese. Not "cheese food product". It tastes like cheese. Because it actually is cheese. But still melts as well as wrapped singles. Now the drawback. It goes bad MUCH more quickly than those plastic cheese slices you are used to. But honestly, it's hardly a drawback because you'll eat these right up. It truly makes the best grilled cheese. It's creamy and delicious. Worth the (few) extra pennies per slice over the other stuff.

You need to look closely at the weight of how much you are buying because you need almost 2(two) of these to even come close to a pound. You pay this price but it's barely a half (1/2) lb.

I Love the taste of the Land o Lakes white American sliced cheese! It melts quickly and is so creamy! Is not as salty as packaged cheese, perfect thickness for grilled cheese or burger! I feel it's a much better quality American white cheese!

These are far better than the wrapped processed cheese food product slices. Even if this is processed cheese, it has a regular slice shape, not like the jellied-looking cheese pieces once unwrapped. That alone keeps me buying this.

Land O Lakes white American cheese is the best cheese around. It taste soft and like butter it doesn't taste like butter, but it has the consistency of creamy and deliciousness. No other cheese taste

its sliced waaaay too thin !! peices stick 2 each otha no matter how or what i do !! ends up being all in small ripped peices. Wish theyd give option of how thick/ thin u want it. like they do IN STORE I'd buy a lot more of it if i cud get it thicker!

This was a complete miss. The slices were all stuck together, so instead of cleanly pulling one for a sandwich, you end up tearing off a mangled chunk. The texture is overly processed and rubbery, and the flavor is flat and artificial. It also doesn't melt smoothly. It turns greasy instead of creamy. Definitely not buying this again.
