I love these towels so much! I was upset a few years ago when they seemed to switch where they sourced their towels but WOW they are so amazing. Even after a hundred washes they are still soft and fluffy like the day I got them. These are the only towels I buy they're fabulous! I would 100% recommend!
I love these towels and washcloths. They are soft and absorbent. I ordered these extra washcloths to supplement a 6 piece towel set. The label states 100% cotton vs 100% Supima cotton as they are advertised. I hope that I got what I ordered and paid for!
These Supima Cotton towels are the best, most absorbent, fluffiest towels out there. I recently tried another brand because LE did not have the color I wanted with matching rugs. But after two months I missed the luxury feeling of LE so I bough them and coordinated a different color rug to go with the bath room. I love my LE towels.
Nothing better than Supima cotton towels and washcloths. This color is nearly the same as the washcloths they replace, which is perfect as a replacement. So soft and luxurious. They look just like the photos on the site so my photos would be redundant.
These towels are thick with long pile loops. The overall texture is a little slippery, and I prefer something more directly absorbent. They are larger than many hand towels, and that's a plus. I meant to order white and these are ivory, so they're going to get less use in my otherwise white bathroom.
Beautiful color, pretty good absorbancy, but do these things shed! I washed and dried them 4 times before using, and the dryer was extremely full of lint. So was the shower when using them on the 5th round. I owned these towels previously, and they were awesome, so I ordered new ones. They are not the same! There was a change in manufacturer, and/or the manufacturing process, and the quality suffered. Please go back to the previous process.
I splurged and bought these towels because I saw them being highly recommended as "buy for life" towels. I've had them for maybe 6 months and they are falling apart. I follow the care instructions to a tee. I treat them so gently, but the looping is coming undone and I'm left having to trim the towels. Not something I expected for such expensive towels. They get 3 stars because they really are so soft.
I have bought Lands End towels for years in the deep sea navy color and always found the Supima Premium cotton towels to be excellent and the color of Deep Sea Navy to be a beautiful rich navy. Unfortunately Lands End no longer offers towel sets or the bath sheet in deep sea navy -- why not? It has been a staple color for years in multiple items and none of the other blue colors you offer are navy nor as nice and rich a navy blue - very disappointed as just bought new bath mats in the deep sea navy to go with towels and now I can't add to either the towels or mats as the color is no longer offered. I would not have bought what I thought was a staple color choice that you have had for years in many items if I knew you were going to discontinue the color (which is really surprising and none of the blues you now offer are navy.).
I have been purchasing LE towels for my Master Bath for close to 30 years. The quality was excellent. No longer. These towels were thin, not absorbent and were wrinkly after washing. Very disappointed as I have recommended these towels to all of my friends. Quality has changed.
This fabric is the worst I have ever experienced in Lands' End towels. I have bought Lands' End towels for over 40 years and have always been satisfied. During a recent sale, I ordered a couple of the supima cotton hand towels to use in the kitchen for hand washing. The bourban color is a dark red. Upon arrival I noticed a kind of roughness. Before using, laundered them by themselves because of the red color. I expected that laundering would freshen the towels to their usual texture. They emerged from the dryer with a much better texture. After use, I added the new towel to a load of other towels in lighter colors. This time, the new bourban colored towel had shed over the rest of the load with and the texture of the new towel had returned to this rough, uneven surface that resembled the look when the towels arrived. Worse, the rest of the load was covered with tiny bourban-colored balls that resembled pilling that appears on acrylic fabrics. When additional drying failed to remove the balls, I ended up using a lint remover and re-laundering the old towels. I was not willing to chance another disaster and threw the towels away. I am sorry to say I feel compelled to warn other shoppers to beware of these strange towels, at least in the bourban color. Also, I want to alert Lands' End of this subpar experience.
