Lands' End School Uniform Women's Insulated Jacket

I bought this because I wanted a lightweight, warm, packable down alternative jacket (I'm allergic) and it fits the bill perfectly. It fits close to the body & is very flattering, but it isn't tight or constricting. I love the red color! The only thing I would change is to make the sleeves longer -- there's a gap between my gloves & the sleeve bottom. I'll just get longer gloves!

Love the color and I got a lot of compliments on the jackets. I bought it for a family vacation and it was perfect.

I love thermoplume jackets. I bought two when they first came out--a black and a nice shimmery beige. I wear them on the coldest NYC winter days and they are fantastic. I just wish they would bring this same jacket back in multiple colors, especially the black! These three colors are boring. My black jacket, after years of wear, now needs a new zipper. I haven't been able to find a similar jacket, except for the hooded packable down but it's not the same. Please bring THIS style back in black and more bright colors!

I love this jacket! I bought it to replace my two packable down jackets that ended up losing their feathers after repeated washings with tennis balls in the dryer. I wear these jackets for my vigorous morning walks, and end up needing to wear them often. This is perfect for that purpose. My only complaint is that I wish there were more fun colors like there were for the light packable down jackets. These colors are so "safe" and boring. If there were more exciting, fun colors like bright yellow or green, pink (any shade), etc., I would definitely get them in more colors.

Purchased on sale, but still overpriced. This jacket doesn't breathe well, sort of feels like I'm wrapped in plastic. I had hoped it would keep the chill out better than it does. It fits well and looks good. I'll wear it, but only on milder days.

I liked the jacket, but the sizing is small. I ordered a medium but the fit is small , (very snug fit) I gave it to a person who is a small

I ordered this as a lightweight, but warm jacket. Having bought a women's XL, I should have plenty of room. That said, I can barely zip it, when just wearing a shirt underneath. And the shoulders are extremely tight, making it hard to even move my arms. Very disappointed.

I bought this jacket last year and wore it about 10 times. Washed it in gentle cycle with just a few other things and not only did the hem open up at one point, the cotton lining bunched up and now the coat is all lumpy and I can't wear it like that. Extremely unhappy with the jacket.
