Please keep producing these wonderful turtlenecks!

Mary June 28, 2026

I bought several of these in different colors as I have for years. They are the best turtlenecks around, and very reasonably priced. The fabric is soft and comes out of the dryer with no wrinkles. However I am concerned that here seems to be less of a selection now that in the past. Please don't tell me these are being discontinued! They are the backbone of my wardrobe.

LOVE this turtleneck

Deedles531 December 31, 2025

I love the weight and fit of this turtleneck. I like the way they finished the hem with the side slits. I wish they had more colors in the Plus sizes, a soft pink and soft blue would be nice. I will make a point to buy more of these early next fall when the size and color selection is better. The only thing I would add is perhaps an extra inch of length in the body but I am tall and this one still fit nicely after washing and then drying in my dryer.

Finally something exceeded my quality expectations

AshG December 3, 2025

I can't wait to order a dozen more. Finally, thick, soft luxurious feeling cotton shirt that isn't see-through. I feel like this is back to the 90's quality before fast fashion.

Turtleneck delivers on all fronts

Susan February 2, 2026

This is the only cotton turtleneck I can find that delivers on all fronts. It is good looking, keeps its shape, launders well and is comfortable. All the rest have become too thin.

Bring back the Cuffed-Sleeve turtleneck

BlackPot November 27, 2025

I have worn LE turtlenecks for over 30 years. Currently I have19 LE (including the one I'm wearing right now). I wear them all winter as a standalone, or layered under a sweater, sweatshirt, or flannel. They have a great business casual look and last a long time. My 30 year-old ones still look good. My favorite style is the full-turtles with cuffed-sleeves because the sleeves stay where they belong when putting on/taking off a jacket or sweater and they keep the cold out. The cuffs are much appreciated when working or playing outdoors in the wind or snow. Currently, cuffs are only available on the "mock-neck" style. I have a few of those in my collection, mostly because I like the colors (especially shades of dusty rose), but I don't really like to wear the mock-necked shirts. They don't look as good under an overlayer, and they don't do a very good job of keeping my neck warm (which is really the whole point of wearing them). Please bring back the cuffed-sleeve version... and bring them back with the variety of colors LE used to offer.

Always my favorite turtleneck…

preppienan April 6, 2026

For many years, this has been my favorite “go to” turtleneck. now the stitching is not as clean as it used to be, and there are not nearly as many colors as they used to be. Where is kelly green, aqua, kiwi green, raspberry pink? Very disappointed that I can only get black, white, charcoal, gray, chocolate, brown, and navy.

The black in narrower in the torso than the white

MKelly December 1, 2025

I bought 3 whites and 3 blacks in size Medium. The white ones are great. The black ones are smaller around the hips by more than one inch. I don't love the rough edge seams around the neck; as a matter of fact, I donated all of my Gap turtlenecks from last winter because of this. Crossing my fingers that these will not itch as much with those seams finished off with a serger sewing machine instead of folding them over and making them smooth.

Disappointing

Mayc February 15, 2026

I have bought these turtle necks for years because they are all cotton and the neck is not too tight. However, the current one is 'shaped', which seems to mean that the neck is tighter. Hopefully, I can stretch it out to feel comfortable.

Way too long - not happy

Charis November 3, 2025

I ordered this supima turtleneck in white recently to replace one I've had for so long that it's showing the wear. Unfortunately, they don't seem to sell them in petite sizes, so I had to go with a regular, which has worked OK for me in the past. Not this time. Fabric and stitching are as expected, but this turtleneck is so long that it would be a tunic if it were not shaped. Lands' End has been my go-to for certain clothing pieces since the mid-1980s, because of their durability and quality, but after several experiences with poor fit, I'm finally giving up. If I were 5 inches taller this would be fine, but now I have to pay to return this turtleneck and then go find a replacement that fits.

Pilling after two wearings

Catt February 25, 2026

I've worn this turtleneck twice and washed and dried it once. So disappointed that it is already pilling heavily in some areas. Is it really 100% Supima cotton? It acts as though it's a blend. Too bad as it is my favorite of all the colors.
